The Director of Bands for the Ghana Police Service, Dr Frank Hukporti, was elevated to the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) a few weeks ago. He had his PhD in Music (Ethnomusicology) from the University of Bayreuth, in Germany, with notable achievements both in music and community initiatives. Under his command, the Police Band has witnessed and continues to see significant progress most especially in infrastructural development and music performance. ACP. Dr Frank Hukporti is an outstanding gentleman who pursues the advancement of music and talents with passion.
The Police Band, and the entire music fraternity, wish you the best of luck as you seek your next promotion.
