It is these and many more that Kharis Business Centre came, to bridge the gap between both legitimate gold miners and investors. Unfortunately, bad nuts in the system have made things difficult for small scale miners in Ghana. Most have been in business for decades, and they still struggle to even produce as low as 1kg per week. Make no mistake about their capabilities or level of competence, but it’s just that, they don’t have the needed resources to increase their productivity. Over the years, many investors and buyers have been scammed in Africa on account on gold and other minerals. Individuals, Chiefs, family heads and several imposters work together with some law enforcing agencies, dupe investors and push them out of the country. The story hasn’t changed these days, just that these scammers have advanced in their deceitful tactics and keep introducing new strategies, to lure investors into the country, rob them off their money, and abscond with it.
