Studying at K.N.U.S.T. is definitely one of my favourite life experiences. Going back there for “Be Enfrenched 26” felt like going back home, but I didn’t know I was going to receive a “home-comers” welcome.

The morning session was awesome! The schools gave their all! I was super impressed, excited and moved by the performances. The parents, Teachers, everyone present was fully into the event. With a heart full of joy, I said “Mission accomplished!”

The second session was super interactive and insightful as well. Doing this alongside the Head of Department of Language and Communication Sciences: Dr. Stella Macafui Yegblemenawo and my brother and coursemate Mr. Mark Anim Sasu was amazing!

Somehow I didn’t even realize that was my first time meeting my sister Stella Blay, she supports my business like we’ve known ourselves for ages!

And yes, I realised later that it was my first time meeting Aimee Sekyi- Duah, an amazing bilingual MC we had. Barbara Appiah wasn’t feeling well but still did her best to be a part of this. Akyede Birago, it was great meeting you again.

Mr. Kwadwo Marfo spearheaded the whole Kumasi team and I just had to concentrate on Accra. There won’t be enough space here to thank you. Princess Amponsah, FRENSA President- elect, Reuben our Graphic Designer and Media Manager. In fact, a big thank you to the whole team, the names are many! Friends and family who supported in various ways, it was great seeing you all again. I truly appreciate all your efforts.

To the schools who made this event a success D& D Academy, CSIR School, K.N.U.S. T. Basic and J.H.S., thank you for responding to our call. Your students did amazingly well! Your French Tutors are doing so well.

Dr. Adu- Menyah, Sir, it was an honour to have you with us. I truly appreciate your time and presence.

Being within the walls of KNUST again gave me so much joy and nostalgia.

I was first overwhelmed by the massiveness and beauty of the new structures, the entire development of the campus, and also delighted to see the familiar places. The places where I used to walk, learn, pray, fellowship and go with friends, colleagues, acquaintances. Walking within the walls that once shaped my education and my faith was such a joy.

I walked straight to the multimedia room, one of my favourite rooms back then and the place that once served as an office for us as Teaching Assistants. It’s good to have the new, but it’s important for some of us that we can still walk into the old places that shaped our lives.

One of the interesting encounters was with one of my Lecturers, several times I’ve avoided reaching out to him because I thought he might not remember me, but immediately he saw me, he mentioned that name the Lecturers called me with: DANIELS! That’s when I knew, that really, it’s not only notorious students who are remembered, good students are remembered too 🤣.

My other delight in this whole planning of Be Enfrenched was to have found out that my late Lecturer, Dr. Albert Yegblemenawo, the one I called my Father, the strict and loving one I wrote about recently, his daughter was now Head of Department. And oh, even on phone, she welcomed me just the way her dad would have welcomed me.

I thought I was doing Be Enfrenched and all these French events for the younger generation to benefit, I didn’t know I was stirring up great things and great memories for myself. These past few months have been exhausting and pleasant at the same time. I’ll come back to write more about it.

Last Saturday will be in my records as one of my best days ever! Be Enfrenched 2026, Accra edition was a huge success! When I consider success, it’s less about the numbers and more about the impact, and that’s what we got!

The morning session with children was just as I envisaged it to be: exciting, fun and very interactive.

The only thing I didn’t envisage was the magnitude of joy and excitement I would feel for seeing all these lovely children I’ve been teaching online all these years as well as their parents. I could easily recognize the children, but the parents, I was totally lost! 🤣

The rehearsals were completely done online! You wouldn’t believe it if you weren’t told. And oh, the parents did amazingly well. I feel soo blessed to have such amazing clients, friends and students.

The afternoon was the Seminar, in collaboration with Maison VASA consultancy. It was also a huge success. The panel discussion was amazing! Not only sharing my thoughts but also hearing the thoughts and experiences of professionals like myself who have been impacted by the French language. The networking session, superb! We all wished it wouldn’t end!

Just because I’m trying not to write too long, let me take a break and say a very big thank you to all who made Be Enfrenched 2026 a success. My Enfrenched parents and students, my “French mum” Mrs. Gifty Andoh, Headmistress of Accra Girls Senior High School, Mr. Jessy Lombalé Baré of Phanerosis Global Platform, Mrs. Catherine Blavo Lotsu, President of France Alumni Ghana, Ms. Veronica Sasu, Founder of VASA Consult, Ms. Akasi Morkeh, our lovely MC, my dear sister Rosalynn William-Mensah for your unwavering support, Ospon Yaa, God bless you for me atse! Our brother Lionnel Agyeman and his team, Gabriel Sarpong Dadzie, friends, former classmates, I can’t finish mentioning them all.

I wasn’t well on Friday, but Veronica, Akasi, Jonathan Foster Nyarko and my very own Eric Darkwah teamed up to get things done. You all deserve a special mention. God richly bless you all.

Michael Michael Akainyah reached out and said “I’m coming to Ghana oo, and I’ll be coming to Takoradi”, the timing coincided perfectly with our Françomonde Campus Tour. Within 1 week, I have interviewed him on radio, he has spent some time with my Françomonde students and we have toured 3 Schools: Sekondi College, Ahantaman Senior High School and Archbishop Porter Girls’ High School. It’s been absolutely amazing.

And let’s talk about Esclare, I had already told her about plans to take our Françomonde Campus Tour to Senior High Schools, so once the time came, I reached out and she said “I’m in!”. We’ve spent an amazing week together “enfrenching” these lovely students.

Let’s talk about team member 3, Eric Darkwah. He runs a lot of things behind the scenes. And this time was even more impressive. We got a call in the middle of the first session that our daughter had been admitted at the hospital. We completed the session and marched straight to the hospital. “Auntie Esther” and “Uncle Michael” came in too spoke to her and prayed with her. Then we left “Daddy” with her at the hospital. I came in later with dinner and the remaining children. We later returned home, but one person was left behind with the girl, “Daddy”.

The next day, he showered and dressed up at the hospital and went with us as if nothing was happening.

The goal of all this was to let the young understand all the opportunities available with French, but I ended up with another beautiful lesson. I am super blessed with love and support.

On the regular, we do everything alone, this week taught me something else. When we call for help, we will get it. Family picked her up from school to the hospital, family took her home when discharged.

A big thank you to the Headmistresses, administration and French Teachers of these wonderful schools for the opportunity. Amazing sessions we had in all the schools!

By the way, we’re still “enfrenching” people with more team members this Saturday in Accra and next Saturday in Kumasi. The countdown is on, don’t miss it!

AWEC called, I responded! The mandate: train 150 women as part of AWEC’s goal of training 20,000 women across Africa for the year 2026.

The major highlights I mentioned over the weekend, this is the other one. If anyone had ever told me I would ever train women in entrepreneurship, I wouldn’t have believed it!

AWEC has sparked something new in me, and just the thought of being able to help other women entrepreneurs in my city and region reach unto higher heights is enough motivation.

Thank you AWEC for the motivation, and a big thank you to all who made this a huge success.

This is just the first of many more to come. Welcome aboard dear ladies, we’re going to grow together and make impact! Do have a lovely day everyone.
