As part of the implementation of the NbS Guinean Forest Project in Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, and Guinea, Agresearch Lead, in collaboration with SEPHIS, has successfully delivered a high-level Masterclass training for 35 Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in the Ashanti and Western North Regions of Ghana. The specialized training focused on Advanced Financial Literacy, Business Acceleration, and Business Development, equipping participating women entrepreneurs with practical knowledge and skills to strengthen their financial management, business performance, growth strategies, and overall enterprise development. The initiative forms part of efforts to strengthen the technical and managerial capacities of women entrepreneurs, enhance the resilience and competitiveness of their businesses, and improve their readiness to access and effectively utilise financial and market opportunities.

The contextual analysis and baseline evaluation will provide the strategic evidence needed to transform the shea value chain into a more inclusive, competitive, resilient, and market-driven sector in both Benin and Ghana.

In partnership with the Sephis Foundation, we are strengthening the capacity of 35 SMEs in the Ashanti and Western North Regions through an Advanced Financial Literacy training programme, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to enhance financial management, improve business performance, and foster sustainable growth.
