Agresearch Lead Consortium is submitting a full proposal for a study in Ghana. As part of our team strengthening, we are seeking to include a Ghanaian Tax Advisor.
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:
a) A minimum of 8 years’ experience in tax advisory services or fiscal policy-related assignments in Ghana.
b) Proven experience working with tax administrations, with strong knowledge of the Ghanaian tax system, including business registration processes, tax filing procedures, and taxpayer engagement mechanisms under the Ghana Revenue Authority.

Day 2 focused on strengthening agribusinesses’ capacity to mainstream gender equality and social inclusion (GESI) within their operations. The rationale was to ensure that businesses not only recognize the importance of inclusive practices but also translate them into actionable strategies that enhance productivity, equity, and sustainability.
Using participatory and learner-centered approaches, the sessions ensured meaningful and effective engagement from all participants, allowing them to share experiences, identify gaps, and co-develop practical solutions.

Key outcomes included:
1. Improved understanding of GESI concepts and their relevance to agribusiness performance
2. Identification of key entry points for integrating gender and inclusion into business operations
3. Enhanced capacity to design inclusive business strategies and policies
4. Increased commitment among participants to adopt and implement GESI-responsive practices

Agresearch Lead has commenced training for 12 agribusinesses across the Northern, Upper West, and Savannah regions of Ghana. The program aims to strengthen their capacities in Gender Equality and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices, enabling them to effectively integrate these principles into their operations.
