Though the journey has ever been easy, the joy of helping my clients and their caregivers make informed better dietary modifications and seeing positive results there after has always been a dependable anchor.

My goal has always been to empower you prevent and manage many congenital, nutrition and even trauma related health conditions.

Nutritional management of Sickle cell disease
1. Adequate hydration- drink plenty of water
2. Eat a rainbow of fruits and vegetables to ensure adequate intake of vitamins and minerals such as calcium, zinc and iron.
3. Include proteins both plants (nuts and beans, etc) and animal (fishes, milk, eggs, beef, chicken, etc) base to meals
4. Avoid intake of caffeinated and sugary beverages. Opt for fruit juices, smoothies or water instead
5. Encourage home cooked meals over fast foods.
6. Encourage family and friends eating meals together to serve as emotional support for sickle cell patients
7. Encourage active lifestyle
