Profile of your Safety and Security Nominee: GEORGE DOSOO-DOYEN

George Dosoo-Doyen is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), security consultant, investigator, educator, author and researcher, and Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Doyen Institute of Intelligence and Investigations (DIII), an institution dedicated to developing skilled security, intelligence and investigative professionals.

With over 13 years of professional experience across law enforcement, intelligence operations, fraud investigations, corporate security and executive education, George began his career with the Narcotics Control Commission as a Special Agent, conducting intelligence-led operations involving organised crime, drug trafficking, money laundering and human trafficking.

He founded DIII in 2018 to address gaps in specialised security education. Under his leadership, the institute has trained over 10,000 professionals from Ghana and countries including Zambia, Nigeria, Lesotho, South Sudan, Somalia, Botswana, Liberia, The Gambia, Israel, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Malawi and Zimbabwe.

Through its Security Awareness Programme, George has delivered security and emergency preparedness training to institutions including the Bank of Ghana, Parliament of Ghana, Ministry of Finance, Ghana Revenue Authority, National Peace Council and Volta River Authority.

He has also strengthened security preparedness within major faith-based organisations.

Beyond training, George contributes to curriculum development, research, institutional capacity building and professional standards within the security industry.

He is the author of Intelligence Unleashed: Mastering the Art of Investigations and Border Security and Interdiction: African Strategic Operations Manual.

His long-term vision is to establish Africa’s premier centre of excellence for intelligence, investigations and security education, producing ethical and globally competent professionals who contribute to safer communities, stronger institutions and resilient nations.
