From 6-7 February 2026, The Hub Ltd proudly participated in a two day conference organized by the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education (MOBSE) in collaboration with UNICEF Gambia and The Government of Japan on Building Inclusive Digital Literacy and Stem Pathways Through Public-Private Partnerships. Through our international flagship program, Technovation Girls, we presented a group of young girls; the Green Cycle Girls, to showcase their Waste Management Platform at Sir Dawda Kairaba Jawara International Conference Centre in Bijilo.

Through this Youth Digital and Innovation showcase, The Green Cycle Girls (the youngest of all the teams) showcased their innovative solution which is an app designed to streamline waste collection and recycling. This platform connects users directly to waste management services, allowing them to request pickups and ensure proper disposal of recyclable materials. The team led by Mariama Bah also participated in a panel discussion. This gave them the opportunity to share ideas with fellow digital innovators and other participants.

The Hub Ltd in shaping innovators of all ages across all sectors is proud to have supported and witnessed the growth of these young changemakers over the past year from zero digital skills to developing and implementing a project prototype as well as presenting it to a national audience. In the core of this embed something on how the Hub promotes, digital skills, teamwork, leadership and technical know how to mould future innovators, changemakers and leaders.
