Noflai Cleaning Services and sister service providers are also affected by this Alport/GPA transition issue. We wouldn’t go into details at this point, but as a local company providing employment to fellow Gambians, we are hoping that GPA will do the needful to regularize our contracts so that we can increase the wages of our hard working cleaners. We have written bunch of letters without any tangible response from either GPA or Alport management. No one knows who is responsible for what. Lot of uncertainty and confusion everywhere. Our hard working cleaners have mouths to feed, bills to pay and other expenses to take care of. They very well deserve a decent salary just like their counterparts working under GPA. Our businesses are running at a loss, operations stifling and morals draining. MD Jobarteh, please rescue the situation by doing the needful. Ajiefatou BahPenda Gaye
