NADJI BI Senegal is recruiting an Electronic Engineer Intern for a period of 6 months.
NADJI BI Sénégal, is a company active in solar energy industry and has a product department (research and development activities and manufacturing of solar devices), a project department (studies, engineering, procurement and construction), a digital department (development of digital solutions - Android and web, IoT devices, and big data analysis solutions), and a consulting department (training, financial engineering assistance, monitoring and evaluation, assembly of partnership projects).

In order to assist in the development of its solar pumping solutions activities, NADJI BI Senegal is recruiting an Electronic Engineer Intern.
• You are passionate, curious, motivated, rigorous;
• You have an excellent team spirit and are good with communication;
• You have good knowledges or have already started to learn the following technologies and activities: development of machine-human interface, programming Arduino boards, electronic wiring, electronic component selection.
• You are fluent in English (Wolof and French would be a plus);
• You are willing to work in a team across Senegal and The Gambia, and to increase your skills;
• You are able to participate in establishing a peaceful social climate;

Your Mission / Job Objectives:
Under the hierarchical supervision of the Technical Director and the General Manager, your main mission will be to participate in the activities of the Technical Division of NADJI.BI Sénégal. In this capacity, you will have among others to:
• Carry out field studies to identify customer needs;
• Participate in the dimensioning of the customer's needs;
• Participate in the design of electronic boards;
• Participate in the prototyping of the technical solution;
• Participate in the testing of the prototype;
• Participate in the writing of the study reports;
• Participate in all tasks of the technical department when requested;
Candidate Profile:
• At the end of your studies or with a degree related to the position (electronics, electrical, mechatronics, computer science ...);
• Basic knowledge of electronics;
• Knowledge of the C programming language;
• No professional experience accepted, experience on personal projects strongly appreciated;
Details of the offer:
• The position is based in Mbour, Senegal (regular travel on missions);
• Paid intership;
