The first day of the week is always busy. After our usual weekly meeting. Edward and Correa are busy adjusting the machines from 50mm to 100mm to produce the 100mm boards. Modou, Edward and Pa busy arranging the pallets of boards to give more space, the rest of us are busy making boards.

100mm boards weigh 4kg

The grassis weigh and transported to the sewing department. After which, its cut in the correct size, glueis apply to ensure you can cut in any design and the sewing will not be affected.
The boards are binded together into bundles.

8 boards/ 4sqm in one bundle for 50mm boards
6 boards/ 3sqm in one bundle for 75mm boards
4 boards/ 2sqm in one bundle for 100mm boards

Isocalm Ltd is a company based in the Gambia at make use of naphia grass to make insulation boards suitable for construction. The boards can be use in building walls of the house, roof or ceiling. The boards come in different thickness but thw same length. 1m by 1/2m and thicknesses of 50mm, 75mm and 100mm.
