🌿 We are thrilled to announce the launch of Dara Eduaid, a social enterprise dedicated to supporting talibeh with essential needs. Our mission is to provide full-day food packs, monthly hygiene kits, and yearly clothing to those in need.

📅 Join us on Sunday, the 14th, as we kick off this initiative in partnership with our green policy advisor, the Honourable Malick Samba. Together, we are committed to making a positive impact on the community and promoting sustainability.

🤝 Each member of the green skill chamber has pledged to support one talibeh daily with breakfast, and we are working to gather data from all Quranic Daras in Farafenni to expand our reach in the future.

The Green Skill Chamber Gambia, in partnership with the Chamber Green Development Policy Advisor, Honourable Malick Samba, is pleased to announce the organization of an Islamic conference on the three principles of green development. The conference will take place on the 31st of March from 4:00 to 7:00 opposite Paradise Radio.

The conference will focus on the integration of green principles into the Dara (school), Jaka (mosque), and Tol (garden or workshop) settings. This initiative aims to promote sustainable development and environmental consciousness within Islamic institutions.

The conference will be attended by members of the WDC, who will be supporting Quranic schools in adopting the concept of social enterprise. Following the conference, an iftar will be held to further foster community engagement and collaboration.

The conference will feature three distinguished speakers:

1. Shaikh Tijan Touray will discuss the importance of the Dara in promoting green development.
2. Oumar Mbaye will shed light on the role of the mosque in the community and its potential impact on green initiatives.
3. Ousainou Saine will share insights on creating small gardens in Arabic schools and explore funding opportunities for such projects.

Additionally, Honourable Malick Samba will address the council's role in supporting this green initiative and the importance of collaboration in driving sustainable development.

This conference promises to be an insightful and impactful event, bringing together key stakeholders to explore the intersection of Islamic principles and green development.
