In July 2017, we secured a deal to be part of the Macky Sall 2019 reelection campaign. We collaborated with StatecraftInc, a company that has worked on the election campaigns of three African Presidents prior. We undertook the telling the story of Macky Sall and his achievements, targeting young Senegalese especially.

Our work took many forms -- from client advisory / engagement, to utilizing our digital campaign / platform (UnSenegalPourTous).

We created and disseminated content that simplified President Sall’s projects, programmes and message.

A few pictures from the launch of our free Job Interview Coaching (JIC) Initiative for job market entrants on September 19th at the Kairaba Hotel. This project is aimed at supporting young professional job seekers between the ages of 21 to 35 in polishing their interview skills through effective communication. We take this opportunity to thank our guest speakers, Oumie Ceesay, HR Manager, Qcell & Hally Mass Jobe, MD of Atlas Ltd; participants; the Gambia Chamber of Commerce and Industry - GCCI; and Institut Africain de la Gouvernance - Africa Governance Institute for giving us a bigger platform to launch our initiative. A big thanks to our co-moderator, Ibrahima Cheikh Diong, CEO of ACT Afrique Group

JIC MODALITIES: The JIC will be a once per week consultative offer with bookings done via e-mail only. Participants will benefit from a one-hour training session and allowed two sessions per year. The coaching session will entail: a mock interview, research tips, communication etiquette, appearance / body language tips, curriculum vitae review and generally give participants a feel of a real interview. Interested participants for the coaching can e-mail: [email protected] for a booking. Upon completing the coaching session, participants will be entitled to a generous discount on two smart work outfits from our Image Consultant, Wedad Sojka of Wedad’s Fashion Boutique, in order to prepare for their future interviews.

On September 18, we will launch our Job Interview Coaching (JIC) initiative at the American Corner Banjul. We have two young dynamic guest speakers for our event. They will discuss the importance of appearance and confidence when preparing for your job interview.

Our first guest speaker is Oumie Ceesay. She is the HR Manager at one of Gambia’s largest employers, Qcell. Based on her zeal to transform the attitude of young Gambians entering the labor market, Ms. Ceesay is the best person to speak on the importance of smart appearance. She will share insider tips to better prepare one for an interview.

Our second speaker is one of the country’s youngest Oil & Gas MDs, Hally Mass Jobe, the MD of Atlas Gambia. He is interested in youth advancement and development. Mr. Jobe will share confidence boosting techniques that can help during one’s interview.

We are so passionate in stamping our mark in changing the Gambian professional landscape that we not only write about ways of bringing about change but in coming weeks, we will be launching a job interview coaching initiative as part of our CSR. Our core is focused on education by being ambassadors for and promoting a professional work force. Indeed a company’s culture can determine a vibrant and professional environment but we want to do our part by preparing job seekers. We will support job seekers on interview preparedness...

We are super proud of the Lions de Teranga, the 🇸🇳 national football team. Senegal surrounding The Gambia or us being their ‘tongue’ 😀, we are definitely thrilled and enjoying the fun of it all. Their beautiful performance at the WC shows that with proper investment, Africa can indeed shine. Their government made sports one of their priority areas and today they are reaping that glory. As they play Columbia today, our great wishes are with them. No matter what, they have made Africa proud and added to our unity. This is the ultimate country branding feat for Senegal! Their performance has placed the world’s eye on them and their brand value is skyrocketing. A lesson for Gambia... Yes, we can !
