Established by Mr.

MFH Group is a company that acts as a distributor for a number of international consumer products and services including LG Electronics, BASF, Foster Clark, Remedica, and much more. MFH Group is made up of:

• LG Electronics
• Banjul Pharmacy
• Sunu Kerr
• King Food

With a wide variety of goods for both retail and wholesale and a wide group of branches, the MFH Group provides a great networ

k of shopping outlets and services to the general and business public. Michel Hocheimy in 1970, MFH Group started off with a small Pharmacy in Wellington Street and slowly grew into a proper Pharmacy now called Banjul Pharmacy, named after the capital of the Gambia. Banjul Pharmacy makes sure that quality medicine is easily and affordably available to the Gambian people. Today, Banjul Pharmacy acts as a retailer and a wholesaler to many hospitals, clinics, and other Pharmacies. In 1988, MFH Group established Sunu Kerr, which means "Our Home" in one of the local languages called wolof. Sunu Kerr offered a variety of consumer goods for bath, kitchen and home decor. Today, Sunu Kerr has 4 branches and has expanded into hardware, appliances, paint, plumbing, flooring and building materials. Sunu Kerr is among the leaders in Hardware and Building Materials in the Gambia, making it very convenient for customers to find almost everything they need in one place to build, maintain, beautify and enjoy their homes. In 1991, MFH Group officially introduced LG Electronics (by then Goldstar) into the Gambia. We became the exclusive agent for this South Korean brand, which was established in 1958. In December 2015, Michel Hocheimy retired. Since then the management of the company has been in the hands of his son Fady Hocheimy. Today, MFH Group has one of the best LG showrooms in West Africa, allowing others to see that the tiny Gambia can still meet the standards of any developed country. We employ over 200 staff and run 10 stores in the Gambia. Of course, we believe that continuous learning is the key to success in today′s fast-changing environment, therefore training our staff is a must. We continuously train them on product knowledge, customer service, and staff etiquette. All these tools are necessary to keep them challenged and enthusiastic about working at MFH Group. MFH Group is a Gambian company and supports the community with its many charitable projects and services. The Group has sponsored many students towards a good education. Moreover, we have always supported the School of the Deaf and the Blind. MFH Group sponsors many hospitals such as Bansang Hospital and the Royal Victoria Teaching Hospital (RVTH). In 2003, we were honored by having the RVTH Hospital name the Emergency and Accident Ward after us. MFH Group has always been a part of the Gambia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI), and will continue to support the efforts made by the GCCI to make The Gambia a successful business industry.
