Happy World Mental Health Day 🌍💚!

Today, we celebrate the contribution of Gambian-German Centre in strengthening national capacity for Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) across The Gambia.

Through the training of master trainers, step-down trainings, community awareness campaigns, and engagement with lawmakers, GGAC continues to empower partner institutions to provide quality mental health services.

💠 Key partners include:
🇬🇲 Gambia Red Cross Society
🏥 Ministry of Health

And through our Local Cohesion and Cooperation Approach (LCCA), more partners such as the National Youth Council, Department of Labour, USET, NEDI, and GYIN Gambia Chapter and others will benefit from trained facilitators to strengthen mental health support at community level.

Together, let’s keep promoting a Gambia where mental health is everyone’s business.
