Our 14 acres vineyards are cultivated with great care, and enthusiasm that leads, our 3rd generation family, to constantly research and experiment with Greek and foreign varieties. New technological advances blend well with tradition throughout vine growing and vinification processes. e ecosystem of mount Ataviros and expresses the uniqueness of the natural surroundings. To achieve this, the cultivation and vinification are handled with care, by not only using knowledge and experience but also by merging tradition with technology. Our aim is to produce expressive wines from grapes cultivated exclusively in the privately owned vineyard, wines that carry all the distinct characteristics of the specific micro-climate (terroir) of Embona-Rhodes, Greece.
Το Οινοποιείο της Οικογένειας Αλεξανδρή βρίσκεται στο ορεινό αγροτικό χωριό Έμπωνα, 52 χλμ ΒΔ της πόλης της Ρόδου.
Για περισσότερο από μισό αιώνα, από την ίδρυση του οινοποιείου το 1968, η φιλοσοφία μας εστιάζει στην παραγωγή εκφραστικών κρασιών υψηλής ποιότητας, πρεσβευτές του μικροκλίματος (terroir) του ορεινού όγκου του Αταβύρου.
Στον ιδιόκτητο αμπελώνα των 40 στρεμμάτων, καλλιεργούνται, με μεγάλη φροντίδα, Ελληνικές & Διεθνείς ποικιλίες. Η εξέλιξη και χρήση της τεχνολογίας συμπορεύεται με την παράδοση, καθ’όλα τα στάδια παραγωγής, από την χειρωνακτική φροντίδα του αμπελώνα μέχρι την οινοποίηση.
Μετά την απόκτηση του Εθνικού Διπλώματος Οινολογίας, στο Montpellier της Γαλλίας, ο Αλεξανδρής Παναγιώτης - τρίτη γενιά - με γνώση και εμπειρία, εξελίσσει το Ροδίτικο ποικιλιακό δυναμικό, στρέφοντας ξανά τα βλέμματα στον οινικό χάρτη του νησιού. Embona 85108, Rhodes, Greece
