At the conference of the Capital Markets Authority (CMA Uganda), I had the opportunity to speak about the two-way opportunities currently emerging between Europe and the countries of East Africa.
My intervention focused on:
• investment opportunities for European capital,
• as well as employment, growth, and structured labour mobility opportunities from East Africa to Europe.
Within this context, I also presented the rationale behind One Step Migration:
a structured, institutionally compliant model that connects real needs of the European labour market with available human capital, with a strong emphasis on transparency, legality, and sustainability.
Special reference was made to:
• the energy sector,
• and the utilisation of land for agriculture and production, as areas where East Africa can respond to critical needs of the Western world through organised investments and strategic partnerships.
The region has resources, human capital, and long-term potential.
What is required is serious planning, institutional security, and credible implementation frameworks.

East Africa is not a promise.
It is a field of ex*****on — for those who approach it with realism and strategy.
