On 12 May, Wisefour joined the Ινστιτούτο Prolepsis and Socialinnov in delivering a free online training seminar (via Zoom) for healthcare and social care professionals in Greece and Cyprus, focused on strengthening inclusive healthcare practices for Trans and Intersex people.
The session brought together doctors, nurses, psychologists, social workers, and students, with a shared goal: making healthcare services safer, more respectful, and more accessible for everyone.
Key takeaways from the training:
• Strengthening knowledge on the health needs of Trans and Intersex people
• Building skills for evidence-based and culturally appropriate care
• Exploring practical tools and guidelines to support inclusive healthcare settings
Thank you to everyone who joined and contributed to an important and constructive discussion!
This training material was developed within the EU-funded ACTIVEAID project (CERV programme), implemented in Greece, Spain, Lithuania, Ireland, and Cyprus, and supporting equal access to healthcare and employment for Trans and Intersex people through training, policy dialogue, and stakeholder engagement.
