On 12 May, Wisefour joined the Ινστιτούτο Prolepsis and Socialinnov in delivering a free online training seminar (via Zoom) for healthcare and social care professionals in Greece and Cyprus, focused on strengthening inclusive healthcare practices for Trans and Intersex people.

The session brought together doctors, nurses, psychologists, social workers, and students, with a shared goal: making healthcare services safer, more respectful, and more accessible for everyone.

This training material was developed within the EU-funded ACTIVEAID project (CERV programme), implemented in Greece, Spain, Lithuania, Ireland, and Cyprus, and supporting equal access to healthcare and employment for Trans and Intersex people through training, policy dialogue, and stakeholder engagement.

On Friday 8 May, the Green2Grow Project final meeting brought together to reflect on project results, sustainable tourism training, and practical pathways for future collaboration.

From project insights and case studies to a hands-on co-creation workshop, the meeting created space for dialogue, shared learning, and concrete ideas to support greener and more resilient tourism ecosystems.

Η Wisefour, εταίρος του ευρωπαϊκού έργου ACTIVEAID, σας προσκαλεί να συμμετάσχετε στο διαδικτυακό stakeholder roundtable που θα πραγματοποιηθεί την Τετάρτη 13 Μαΐου 2026.

Το ACTIVEAID είναι ένα ευρωπαϊκό έργο που χρηματοδοτείται από το πρόγραμμα Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV) της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης και υλοποιείται σε Ελλάδα, Ισπανία, Λιθουανία, Ιρλανδία και Κύπρο. Στόχος του είναι η προώθηση της ισότιμης πρόσβασης στην υγεία και στην απασχόληση για τρανς και ίντερσεξ άτομα, μέσα από εκπαίδευση, διάλογο πολιτικής και συνεργασία με εμπλεκόμενους φορείς.

Το roundtable θα φέρει κοντά επαγγελματίες υγείας, φορείς χάραξης πολιτικής, εργοδότες, οργανώσεις LGBTQI+ και εκπροσώπους της κοινότητας, με στόχο την ανταλλαγή εμπειριών και τη διαμόρφωση προτάσεων πολιτικής για πιο συμπεριληπτικές πρακτικές στην υγεία και την εργασία.

📍 Dublin | ACTIVEAID – 3rd Transnational Project Meeting (Day 1)

Today, and the ACTIVEAID consortium are at University College Dublin (UCD) for the 3rd TPM—advancing work that strengthens access to care and employment for trans and intersex individuals.

Day 1 wrap-up: we focused on selecting the training materials and preparing the delivery phase—because impact depends on implementation, not just design.

What matters most: training that is practical, realistic, and safe—for professionals and the communities they serve.

Last week, the Green2Grow Project consortium met in Trapani, Italy (05–06 Feb 2026) for the 3rd Transnational Project Meeting!

Across two focused days, partners worked intensively to:

➡️ Align on WP1 project management: administrative follow-up, reporting requirements, and planning upcoming physical meetings.
➡️ Advance WP4 – VET Programme Design & Implementation: finalising learning objectives, modules, and methodology, plus peer-reviewing content and confirming responsibilities for the final adjustments.
➡️ Run a Quality Assurance review: assessing WP4 outcomes, updating risk mitigation actions, and checking the timeline to project closure.
➡️ Prepare WP5 – Final Conference (Agrigento, May 2026): clarifying objectives, target groups, format, and coordination roles.
➡️ Strengthen communication, dissemination & sustainability: agreeing on training programme promotion steps and monitoring KPIs.
➡️ Confirm the next 6 months’ deliverable plan (internal deadlines, peer review windows, and submission milestones).

🎉 We’re happy to announce the publication of two key ACTIVEAID deliverables: D2.1 (Report on the Country Situation) and D2.2 (State of the Art Report).

These reports provide a consolidated evidence base on LGBTQI+ realities and barriers—with a specific focus on trans and intersex people’s access to healthcare and employment—across Spain, Greece, Cyprus, Ireland, and Lithuania.

✅ D2.1 maps the current national landscape (legal frameworks, implementation gaps, and lived experience signals).
✅ D2.2 complements this with stakeholder insights (interviews & focus groups), cross-cutting findings, and actionable recommendations for more inclusive systems.

In January, ACTIVEAID partners are organising discussions with key stakeholders across participating countries to review the training programme developed for healthcare professionals and employers.

We are proudly contributing to this next step by supporting a structured, evidence-informed process that translates stakeholder feedback into clear, actionable improvements to the final training materials.

Our shared goal is practical and rights-based: strengthen inclusive healthcare services and workplaces and improve access to care and employment for trans and intersex individuals across Europe.
