GAS (Guitar Aging Studio), was founded in May 2011 in Athens/GR, and provides products & professional services for electric guitars and basses, such as setup, maintenance and repair. We are experts on guitar and bass pickups, offering a wide area of services as rewinding, wax-potting, re-assambly, replasement of damaged/old/used parts, etc.

New pickup model, just launched at the Guitar Summit 2025!
Please welcome the GAS Dual Field!
Following the wish of many heavy rock and metal players who wished to have sharp, tight riffing and mellow leads on the same pickup, we created a unique designed humbucker, which features a ceramic magnet bar under the lower E,A and D strings and an AlNiCo magnet under the g,b and e strings. This allows to the player to integrate hard attacked riffs and mellower sound leads on that same pickup, without needing to adapt the eq.

High carbon 1018 steel screws combined with flat top slugs on the E, A, D side and low carbon 1010 screws combined with 1215 steel beveled slugs on the g,b, e side further support the difference in the response!

This week is guitar week!!
The 2025 Guitar Summit , the ultimate exhibition for guitars, guitar parts, amps and periphery starts in a few days in Mannheim's Rosengarten, in Germany!!!
GAS Pickups will be there at booth 366. Join us and check out our pickups on our especially prepared Strat, where you may change loaded pickguards within seconds!!!
