AELIA Tech Community is a learning community bout the challenges of technology transfer and innovation management, about technology start ups and university spin offs. AELIA Tech Community mission is to add value to technology ventures scientific and/or commercial value through the insights into the challenges that they are facing
The community supports mainly ventures which are in the process of
developing innovative products out of applied research. AELIA Tech Community is currently run by AELIA, a non profit organization, supporting people in their professional development. Some of AELIA members have developed considerable experience in supporting -through mentoring and educational workshops- university researchers in technology transfer as well as newly founded tech start ups. Initially this community was run by a boutique consultancy, Add 2 Value PC, which was active between August 2013 to February 2015, offering services to new technology ventures and reserchers and organizing information activities for the innovation ecosystem of Greek research organizations, among other the Athens Tech Transfer Talks
