GYA is dedicated to promoting and safeguarding professional crewed charter yachting in the Greek seas

The Greek Yachting Association (GYA) was founded by the leading Greek professional yachting companies involved in all fields of Charter, Brokerage, Management, Insurance and Construction of large yachts. GYA and its Members represent over 90% of the Crewed Charter Yachts in Greece under Central Agency Agreement. The objectives of this Association are to:
• Maintain high standards of professionalism in charter, sales and yacht management.
• Closely cooperate with ΜΥΒΑ and other yachting associations in order to improve business standards in Greece.
• Promote Greece as a yachting destination and become the point of reference for foreign professionals.
• Organize an annual charter yacht show for large charter yachts of the highest quality, under Central Agency Agreement. Board Members:

The Hollywood Side of Greece | Mykonos

Not every Hollywood ending happens in Hollywood. In The Bourne Identity (2002), starring Matt Damon, Mykonos sets the scene for the film's memorable final moments.

Far from the high-speed chases and suspense that define the story, the island reveals a different atmosphere, where whitewashed streets, traditional architecture and the endless blue of the Aegean provide the perfect setting for an unexpected reunion.

The Hollywood Side of Greece | Hydra

The Hollywood Side of Greece | Spetses

Somewhere between the sea, the old harbour and the quiet streets of Spetses, a familiar island became the setting for a very different kind of story.

Maggie Gyllenhaal’s The Lost Daughter was filmed across the island, with Zogeria Beach, Dapia and Kounoupitsa all becoming part of the film’s world.

Seen from the sea, there is another way to follow in the footsteps of the film, moving between secluded beaches, waterfront spots and the island’s distinctive architecture.

A cinematic side of Spetses that feels a little quieter, and perhaps all the more intriguing.

The Hollywood Side of Greece | Santorini

Before Santorini became the backdrop for countless summer escapes, it was already starring on the big screen.

Oia took centre stage in Summer Lovers, the 1982 romantic comedy starring Daryl Hannah, Peter Gallagher and Valérie Quennessen. The iconic village, with the old Castle of Oia at its heart, became part of the film’s carefree summer story.

Decades later, the appeal is still easy to understand. Sail around the caldera, stop for a swim in the volcanic waters and make your way towards Oia as the whitewashed houses rise above the cliffs.

The kind of summer setting that Hollywood clearly knew something about.
