What have you been up to during the COVID-19 pandemic? Last month, AstroLab’s team produced 50.000 face-shields for the Ministry of Health. Innovation can help in the pandemic
As Greece is witnessing a pressing medical supplies gap, we are working non-stop to mass-produce 50.000 face-shields by the end of April. Using innovative design methods and digital tools from the Digital Fabrication Lab, we utilize manufacturing techniques and we are producing more than 5.000 units per day, reaching the goal of 50.000 face-shields in less than 10 days. Funded by TIMA Charitable Foundation, all face-shields will be offered for free to the Greek Ministry of Health and will be distributed to hospitals and clinics across Greece.
