Bridging the Digital Skills Gap

LearnChain (KA220-HED-28DFDD74) is an Erasmus+ cooperation project in higher education running from September 2025 to August 2027. It addresses a critical gap: university students — especially in Business and Economics — are entering a digital economy without the technical literacy and ethical grounding they need to succeed.

The project brings together six partners from Portugal, Türkiye, Greece, and Slovakia to co-develop a comprehensive "Digital Foundations" training course and a gamified e-learning platform, ensuring sustainable impact well beyond the project's lifetime.

We are thrilled to share the official results of the Interreg NEXT MED Programme’s recent decisions for the Mediterranean region: 49 projects approved under the call for green transition. €113 million in EU funding allocated to support these initiatives. 331 organisations involved from 15 participating countries. €8 million newly allocated for the third call for proposals focused on sustainable tourism.Significant progress on the preparation for the new Interreg NEXT MED Programme (2028–2034).The strategic evaluation and verification of eligibility (STEP2) is moving forward, paving the way for a greener Mediterranean.

The B_T_3.1_0183 – ECOLEARN project has successfully passed the second stage of evaluation under the Interreg NEXT MED Programme. We are proud to share that it achieved a top score of 93/100, under: Priority 3 – A More Social and Inclusive Mediterranean SO3.1 – Equal Access to Inclusive and Quality Services in Education, Training and Lifelong Learning

Προκήρυξη της Δράσης «Ξεκινώ Επιχειρηματικά» του Προγράμματος «Ανταγωνιστικότητα» (ΕΣΠΑ 2021-2027), η οποία στοχεύει στην ενεργοποίηση του ανθρώπινου κεφαλαίου μέσω της ενδυνάμωσης της αυτοαπασχόλησης και της ανάπτυξης νέων επιχειρηματικών πρωτοβουλιών που συνεισφέρουν στην αύξηση της απασχόλησης. Πληθυσμός-στόχος είναι κυρίως εξειδικευμένοι & καταρτισμένοι νέοι με επιχειρηματική ικανότητα και νοοτροπία για δραστηριοποίηση σε βιώσιμους & σύγχρονους τομείς (π.χ. ΤΠΕ, Επιστήμη, Τεχνολογία, Μηχανική & Μαθηματικά, Τουρισμός, κ.λπ.).
Η Δράση υλοποιείται με απλοποιημένο κόστος. Προβλέπονται κατ’ αποκοπή ποσά για την 18μηνη λειτουργία νέας επιχείρησης (13.000€ για επιχείρηση με έναν δικαιούχο/ωφελούμενο και 21.000€ για εταιρικό/πολυμετοχικό σχήμα) και επιπρόσθετα μοναδιαίο κόστος 15.000 € ανά Ετήσια Μονάδα Εργασίας (ΕΜΕ) για τη δημιουργία νέας θέσης εργασίας.

Δικαιούχοι της Δράσης είναι:

Yπό σύσταση και νεοσύστατες Μικρές και Πολύ Μικρές επιχειρήσεις, όπως αυτές ορίζονται στο Παράρτημα IV της παρούσας, που συστήνονται από φυσικά πρόσωπα που έχουν αποκτήσει μετά την 1/1/2016 το πρώτο πτυχίο τους από σχολή τριτοβάθμιας εκπαίδευσης (ΑΕΙ/ΤΕΙ), καθώς και νέες επιχειρήσεις (αυτοαπασχολούμενοι ή εταιρικά/πολυμετοχικά σχήματα με νομικές μορφές, όπως ορίζονται στην παρούσα Πρόσκληση) που έκαναν έναρξη μετά την 1/1/2025, οι οποίες θα δραστηριοποιηθούν ή δραστηριοποιούνται στους επιλέξιμους ΚΑΔ της Πρόσκλησης.
Η αίτηση χρηματοδότησης υποβάλλεται υποχρεωτικά ηλεκτρονικά μέσω του Ολοκληρωμένου Πληροφοριακού Συστήματος Διαχείρισης Κρατικών Ενισχύσεων (ΟΠΣΚΕ στην διεύθυνση https://app.opske.gr/).

LearnChain Kicks Off: Europe Invests in Students’ Digital Future

On 20 April 2026, the LearnChain project Kicked-off in Porto. A six-partner consortium from Portugal, Greece, Turkey and Slovakia, committed to reshaping how university students prepare for the digital world.

What is LearnChain
LearnChain (Erasmus+ KA220-HED) is a European cooperation project in higher education, co-funded by the European Commission. It aims to build a comprehensive learning ecosystem that equips students with blockchain skills, cybersecurity knowledge, and responsible digital citizenship — the tools to navigate tomorrow’s economy with confidence.

• 3-module curriculum in 6 European languages
• Gamified Platform & Serious Game “CYBERCHAIN”
• Podcast Series featuring industry experts
• “Connect & Collaborate” Matchmaking Events

The Consortium
The project brings together six complementary organisations: Universidade Portucalense Infante D. Henrique (Portugal, Coordinator), University of Thessaly (Greece), Stratigon Finance (Greece), Virtual Campus (Portugal), OSTİM Technical University (Turkey), and Matej Bel University (Slovakia).

At the Kick-off Meeting, all Work Package leaders presented the key elements of their respective packages, while the lead partner, Universidade Portucalense, presented a solid action plan for the optimum implementation of the project. Stratigon Finance - leading WP5 (Dissemination & Publicity), presented the project’s communication strategy and visual identity, laying the groundwork for maximum visibility of project results across Europe.
