We’re excited to present the final module of the EcoPatrol Manual: Sustainable Living & Green Transition 💪📘

This module focuses on how everyday choices — from the way we travel 🚲 and eat 🥗 to how we consume and use energy ⚡ — can help create a more sustainable future.

The green transition starts with awareness, responsibility, and small daily actions that protect our planet and support healthier communities 💚

Through this module, young people are encouraged to explore practical ways to live more sustainably and become active contributors to a greener future 🌱

From fake climate myths to “green” labels that don’t mean much 🌱❌ — misinformation can slow down real environmental action.

This module helps young people learn how to question sources, recognize misleading messages, and make informed green choices 🧐💚

Fast fashion isn’t just about trends and low prices — it comes with a high environmental and social cost 💧☣️👩‍🏭. From water pollution to textile waste and unfair working conditions, our clothing choices have a much bigger impact than we often realize.

This module encourages young people to slow down fashion, choose quality over quantity, and explore alternatives like second-hand, swapping, repairing, and conscious buying 🌱👚

We’re working intensively on our EcoPatrol Manual 💪📘 and we’re excited to share a sneak peek of Topic 1: Earth Systems 🌱

Earth Systems help us understand how everything on our planet is connected — the air we breathe 💨, the water we drink 💧, the land we live on 🌍, and all living beings 🐝🌿. When one part changes, everything else feels it too.

This topic sets the foundation for climate action, sustainability, and smart green choices ♻️🌎

Because to protect our planet, we first need to understand how it works 💚

🚀 Eco Patrol is officially at work on Activity 2.2 – Expert work on the second manual!

On 12 January, we held our first online expert meeting, bringing together one expert from each partner country. The meeting was highly productive and marked the start of developing our second Eco Patrol manual 🌍📘

During the meeting, we:
✔️ Agreed on the overall structure of the activities,
✔️ Presented and discussed the module topics,
✔️ Clarified what each module should include and focus on,
✔️ Aligned expectations and working methods for the next steps.

The experts started working on their assigned topics by:
🔍 Researching and exploring current studies and innovative solutions,
📚 Reviewing relevant literature,
✍️ Preparing clear theoretical introductions,
🎯 Defining learning objectives, skills, and attitudes for young people,
🧩 Proposing sub-topics, activity ideas, and learning pathways.

The new manual will support young people in better understanding today’s environmental challenges and empower them to act through knowledge, skills, and sustainable choices.

🇬🇷 KICK-OFF MEETING IN ATHENS 🌿
Eco-Patrols – Boost Its Green Goals officially started with a Kick-off Meeting held in Athens from 27 to 30 November 2025, bringing together partners from Croatia, Spain, Romania, North Macedonia and Greece 🤝.
During the meeting, we shared experiences, aligned expectations and worked on the structure, roles and next steps of the project. This first face-to-face encounter was also an important moment to strengthen cooperation and build a shared vision for empowering young people through environmental education and local eco-actions.
This meeting marks the beginning of a European journey focused on youth participation, sustainability and community-based action 💚🌍.
