Eco-Patrols – Boost Its Green Goals

💥ECO-PATROLS IS GOING INTO ACTION!💥
After months of research, co-creation, testing and expert review, we are ready for the next important step: the piloting of the Eco-Patrols Manual.
In the coming weeks, young people across 🇭🇷 Croatia, 🇬🇷 Greece, 🇲🇰 North Macedonia, 🇷🇴 Romania and 🇪🇸 Spain will start experiencing the Eco-Patrol programme in practice.
Through the 8 educational modules, participants will explore different environmental challenges using non-formal education, experiential learning, group reflection and hands-on activities.
But piloting is not only about putting the Manual into practice. It is also an opportunity to observe, listen and learn: participants’ experiences and facilitators’ feedback will help us understand how the activities work in different contexts and further strengthen the Eco-Patrol approach.
And this is just the beginning! Over the coming weeks, we will take you inside the pilots and share activities, experiences and moments from the different countries.

🌍🎮♻️ From a mobile game to real environmental action!

Between 26–30 June 2026, three representatives of each partner organization participated in the international workshop held in Šibenik, Croatia 🇭🇷 dedicated to upgrading the mobile e-game "EcoPatrols in 24 Zones" and making it even more interactive, engaging, and impactful for young people.

Together, we:
✅ Developed real-life environmental challenges that encourage players to take action in their local communities and document their achievements;
📚 Created the Educational Usage Plan – a practical guide that helps teachers, youth workers, educators and facilitators use the game in schools, youth centres and other educational settings;
🌱 Explored new and innovative ways to transform the game into a powerful educational tool that promotes active participation, environmental responsibility and learning through experience.

The goal is simple: EcoPatrol in 24 Zones is no longer just a game - it is a tool that inspires young people to make a real difference. 🌍💚 By completing challenges beyond the screen, players become active contributors to a greener and more sustainable future.

Every small action counts. Together, we can create a bigger impact! 🌿✨

🌍🎮♻️ Working on upgrading our e-game “EcoPatrols in 24 Zones”! ♻️🎮🌍

On 10 June, our international team met online to discuss new ideas and possible improvements for the educational mobile game “EcoPatrols in 24 Zones”. 💡🌱

The game is already available on both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store, helping young people learn about environmental protection in a fun and interactive way. 📱🌍

During the online meeting, we explored different ways to make the game even more engaging, educational, and connected to real-life environmental challenges. 🌿🧩

And this is just the beginning! 🚀 This week, we are meeting in Šibenik 🇭🇷 to continue working on the next version of the game and discuss how we can introduce exciting real-life eco challenges that will inspire young people to take action in their communities. 🌱💚

📗 ECO-PATROLS: MANUAL IN PROGRESS🌱
After months of collaborative work, research, testing and activity design, the educational modules developed by the partner organisations have now been completed 🤩!
The Manual is currently being reviewed by experts in each partner country to ensure that the activities, methodologies and educational approaches are practical, engaging and relevant for youth work and environmental education across different contexts. Starting in September, the piloting phase will begin, bringing the modules into real learning environments through activities with young people, educators and youth workers 💚

🌍 INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP IN OHRID 🌿
From 29 March to 2 April 2026, partners of the Eco-Patrols project gathered in Ohrid, North Macedonia 🇲🇰 for an intensive International Workshop hosted by Kreator Association.
During these days, representatives from all partner organisations worked together to test, explore and improve the educational modules developed for the Eco-Patrol Manual 📘. Through non-formal education methods, group work, discussions and hands-on activities, participants had the opportunity to:
✨ Present the modules they developed;
🛠️ Test activities in practice;
💬 Exchange feedback and ideas;
🌍 Strengthen collaboration across countries.
The workshop was a key step in ensuring that the final Eco-Patrol Manual will be practical, engaging and meaningful for youth work and environmental education.
A few days full of learning, cooperation and shared commitment to building a more sustainable future.

We’re excited to present the final module of the EcoPatrol Manual: Sustainable Living & Green Transition 💪📘

This module focuses on how everyday choices — from the way we travel 🚲 and eat 🥗 to how we consume and use energy ⚡ — can help create a more sustainable future.

The green transition starts with awareness, responsibility, and small daily actions that protect our planet and support healthier communities 💚

Through this module, young people are encouraged to explore practical ways to live more sustainably and become active contributors to a greener future 🌱

We’re continuing our intensive work on the EcoPatrol Manual 💪📘 and this time we’re tackling Misinformation & Greenwashing 🚨

From fake climate myths to “green” labels that don’t mean much 🌱❌ — misinformation can slow down real environmental action.

This module helps young people learn how to question sources, recognize misleading messages, and make informed green choices 🧐💚
