Alexandros Marketos, born and grew up in Athens, is a person who loves and respects the sea since his professional life has always been connected to the Sea Environment. His love for new experiences, discoveries, and his tendency to belong to the Elite, quickly led him to enter the Special Forces and the Diving Groups of the Greek and U.S. In addition to the training and certifications he received

from the Special Forces he served, he was trained and certified as a Salvage Diver by the U.S. Navy "Deep Sea" award. His experience was enriched during his service and he mastered his knowledge of professional diving, learning almost all types of diving work, especially during the last 11 years of Service when he participated in many companies the Diving Unit "Salvage Unit Two" with the "Detachment Alpha" Diving Team on the "Mohawk" Diving Ship of the U.S. Navy, in different parts of the world. In 2013, after 20 years of service and a very successful career in the Greek and U.S. Navy, Alexander decided to demobilize. In the same year, he founded the SEATEC Underwater Services and the Diving
School "Deep Blue Divers" PADI 5 Star Dive Center, continuing his dream and setting new and higher goals. Alexandros Marketos started working as a freelancer, building on a daily basis a clientele in the wider shipping sector.
