As an ECOPILOT Project partner, iED is inviting its network to join the project’s first Stakeholder Workshop. 🍃

On 4 November 2026, the online workshop will bring together SMEs, industry representatives, policymakers, researchers and experts in LCA, PEF and Safe-and-Sustainable-by-Design (SSbD) to discuss real sustainability challenges, industry needs and expectations.

Your perspective can help shape a PEF Copilot that is practical, transparent and relevant to the organisations and professionals who may use it.

🌍🚀 Have you ever imagined your idea could take you to Budapest?

Are you between 18 and 30 years old and living in Estonia? Through the European GameChangers project, you have the opportunity to explore social entrepreneurship, develop your own business idea and potentially represent Estonia at the European final in Budapest in February 2027. It's a chance to build new skills, connect your ideas with positive social impact and gain valuable international experience.

Participation is free, and the online training can be completed at your own pace. No previous business experience or fully developed business idea is required.

💡 What does the opportunity include?
🔹 Free online training in social entrepreneurship and business planning.
🔹 The selection of five outstanding participants, followed by the selection of one Estonian finalist.
🔹 Mentoring sessions to support the selected finalist in developing their business idea.
🔹 The opportunity to present their business plan at the European final in Budapest, with travel and accommodation covered.

To qualify for the selection process, participants must complete the required training activities.

🌍 Advancing electrified CO₂ capture solutions with PandORA!

On 7–8 September 2026, the PandORA consortium gathered at Politecnico di Milano, Italy, for its Consortium Meeting, bringing partners together to review progress and coordinate the next steps towards cleaner industrial processes.

The meeting focused on key developments across the project's technical activities, including:

🔹 CO₂ conditioning processes
🔹 Electrified amine-based CO₂ capture
🔹 Electrified oxyfuel calcination
🔹 Techno-economic assessment and project coordination

A highlight was the visit to Politecnico di Milano's laboratory facilities, where partners gained a closer look at the experimental work supporting the project's research and technological development.

Through these activities, PandORA aims to advance electrified CO₂ capture technologies for hard-to-abate industries, exploring solutions that can be integrated into existing facilities while reducing dependence on fossil-fuel-based heat.

🚀 The SHIA website is now live!

Where can health, sport, entrepreneurship and innovation come together to create new opportunities?

The official website of SHIA (Sports and Health Innovation Accelerator) is now available, offering a dedicated space to follow the project's activities, resources and upcoming opportunities.

SHIA brings together universities, VET providers, startups, researchers, industry representatives and policymakers to strengthen collaboration and support innovation across Europe's health and sport sectors.

Through practical tools, training opportunities and an acceleration framework, the project aims to connect knowledge, expertise and entrepreneurial ideas.

🏆 A proud milestone for the STOREDGE project!

📍 As a partner of STOREDGE, we are delighted to celebrate an important scientific achievement: research developed within the project received the Best Poster Award at the 18th International Heat Transfer Conference (IHTC18) in Rio de Janeiro.

Khushwant Singh Chauhan from the University of Twente, STOREDGE’s coordinating organisation, presented the research "Multiphysics Modeling of a Moving Bed Reactor for Ca(OH)₂/CaO Thermochemical Energy Storage System."

The work explores an innovative reactor concept for thermochemical energy storage and contributes to STOREDGE’s wider goal of advancing efficient, long-duration thermal energy storage solutions for future energy systems. STOREDGE brings together partners from across Europe, with the University of Twente coordinating the project and Institute of Entrepreneurship Development (iED) participating as a partner. ✨

🇪🇺 VET-READY: Final steps towards project completion!

On 28–29 September 2026, the VET-READY consortium gathered in Granada, Spain, for its Final Transnational Project Meeting, hosted by Neotalentway.

With partners from six countries coming together, the meeting focused on reviewing project achievements, coordinating the remaining activities and planning how VET-READY's results can continue to support disaster preparedness and resilience beyond the project's lifetime.

Key discussions included:

🔹 Final updates and quality improvements to the VET-READY Online Knowledge Hub, including its learning modules and certification features.
🔹 Outcomes and feedback from the project's recent webinar.
🔹 Sustainability planning to ensure the continued accessibility and use of the project's educational resources.

💠 contributes to Vet-Ready Project as Dissemination & Communication Leader and Technical Partner, leading the project's dissemination activities and the development of the VET-READY Online Knowledge Hub.

🎓 Three years of CONVERT, one final gathering in Belgrade!

On 23–24 September 2026, joined the CONVERT partnership in Belgrade, Serbia, for the project's Final Event and final transnational partner meeting, marking the completion of three years of collaboration and progress.

Held as part of the 2026 ALL DIGITAL Summit, the Final Event showcased CONVERT's achievements in addressing digital skills gaps and supporting upskilling and reskilling through innovative learning opportunities.

💡 From identifying labour market needs to developing an e-learning platform and training programme, CONVERT has worked to make digital skills development more accessible and relevant. The event also highlighted the role of micro-credentials in recognising skills and connecting learning outcomes with real employment opportunities.

During the final partner meeting, partners reflected on the project's implementation, evaluated the training programme and shared lessons learned throughout the piloting process.

🤝 For , CONVERT.eu has been a valuable journey of collaboration, knowledge exchange and shared commitment to making lifelong learning more responsive to the evolving world of work.
