Every workplace has hidden rules.

They affect how people ask questions, speak to supervisors, give feedback, solve problems, and work together.

When moving into a new job or sector, these rules may not be obvious at first. Understanding them can help reduce confusion and build confidence.

The DEMANDS course helps learners understand workplace culture and communicate more effectively in diverse working environments.

By completing the course, learners will receive official recognition from Κέντρο Επιμόρφωσης και Δια Βίου Μάθησης - Πανεπιστήμιο Δυτικής Μακεδονίας (Centre of Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning UOWM), including 1 ECTS credit.

🌿 New Erasmus+ Project: The Rural Village Training

CRADLE is pleased to participate in The Rural Village Training, a new Erasmus+ VET project focused on strengthening digital skills in rural tourism and supporting the sustainable development of rural communities.

The project will support professionals, entrepreneurs, SMEs and local actors in rural tourism through practical vocational training in areas such as digital marketing, e-commerce, social media management, online visibility, digital booking systems and other digital tools relevant to rural tourism.

A strong emphasis will also be placed on inclusion, employability, sustainability and the resilience of rural areas, with particular attention to young people, women entrepreneurs, adults with lower digital skills and small family businesses.

CRADLE will play a key role in the project by leading the development of the training content and contributing its expertise in sustainability, circular economy, social innovation and non-formal learning. We will also support the integration of the green and digital transitions within the VET training modules and contribute to their pedagogical validation and evaluation.

During the project, partners will develop transferable VET training materials and organise 11 training workshops, including face-to-face and online activities, together with a final European-level agenda in Brussels.

We look forward to working with our European partners and supporting rural communities in becoming more digital, competitive, connected and sustainable.

CRADLE is pleased to be part of DEMANDS-AUTO, a 24-month European initiative supporting workers affected by the green and digital transformation of the automotive sector and its directly related supply chains.

The project follows a vacancy-first approach:

🔹 employers identify and validate real job vacancies;
🔹 workers’ experience, skills and transition needs are assessed;
🔹 suitable candidates are matched with real employment opportunities;
🔹 short, targeted training is provided only where specific skills gaps are identified;
🔹 workers and employers receive onboarding and follow-up support during the first six months of employment.

The goal is not simply to help people find a new job, but to support them in successfully remaining in employment.

Across the partnership, DEMANDS-AUTO aims to:

✅ profile 150 eligible workers;
✅ collect and validate 200 vacancies;
✅ achieve at least 90 employer-confirmed matches;
✅ support 75 new employment placements;
✅ provide targeted bridging training to 70 participants;
✅ achieve 60 verified six-month employment retention outcomes.

CRADLE leads the project activities related to worker profiling, vacancy-based matching, onboarding support, early-warning monitoring and six-month employment retention.

Through cooperation with employers, chambers of commerce, training providers, universities and public employment authorities, DEMANDS-AUTO will test a practical and transferable model for more sustainable employment transitions.
