🌱 IDEC leads sustainability in the workplace

From 22 to 24 September, IDEC participated in the Greendale Erasmus+ project International Mentor Training in Malta, an event officially recognised as part of both the European Sustainable Development Week 2026 and Malta’s Sustainable Development Action Days 2026.

As a company specialising in business consulting, training services and high-tech applications, IDEC leads the activities focusing on sustainability competence development through internships. In the training event, IDEC introduced the GREENDALE Methodology and Mentor Handbook and facilitated workshops together with the project’s other industry partners, ASTRA - Association for Innovation and Development and ascendconsulting.eu

Participants became familiar with the European GreenComp framework and explored how transversal sustainability competences can be integrated into internships. During practical workshops, company mentors applied the resources and tools developed by GREENDALE, laying the foundations for their own sustainability-oriented internship plans.

The three-day training was hosted by MCAST, which provided the facilities and organisational support for a productive and engaging event.

In collaboration with the project’s higher education partners, the University of the Aegean (Πανεπιστήμιο Αιγαίου), Ekonomická fakulta, TUKE and MCAST, pilot internships will be organised over the coming months.

Through this cross-border cooperation, GREENDALE supports meaningful sustainability learning in higher education and the workplace, while contributing to , , and .

🔔IDEC S.A., as co-leader of the EAFA Social Inclusion and Gender Equality (SIGE)Community, had the opportunity to support and moderate the webinar that took place on April 23rd, 2026 with the tile:

“Bridging the Gender Gap: Tackling gendered challenges in digital skills and digital apprenticeships”

The online event aimed at 👥bringing together again the SIGE Community’s members, and the wider network of this European Alliance, in order to promote further discussions on gender , , and opportunities in apprenticeships!

Chiara Ristuccia (DG EMPL, European Commission) welcomed the participants, with many more insightful presentations later on from:
