Weddings Greece, Vendor recommendation post - Translating documents! 🌟
Honestly I have to share this because I was SO stressed about the whole document side of getting married in Greece I thought I’d done really well getting to the point of the documents all sorted and being apostilled and then realised I needed to get them translated too 😅
I was getting so much conflicting information online and in the UK the quotes I was getting were honestly so expensive… After searching through these groups I came across Maria Drogitis - Stoufis and I am SO glad I did 🤍
Straight away she completely put me at ease. She explained everything so clearly, reassured me and honestly just made the whole process feel simple instead of stressful. She’s been doing this for years and you can tell straight away she knows exactly what she’s doing.
The whole process was so easy… I literally just emailed over scans of my documents and she handled everything from there. She arranged the certified translations, legal validation through a Greek lawyer, sent me e copies and even organised courier delivery directly to my hotel in Crete. She also kept in contact with my wedding coordinator which was SUCH a weight off my mind.
Everything was done so quickly as well, way faster than I expected!!!! (I emailed in the Saturday and arrived by courier on the Wednesday!) … and she kept me updated the whole time. Even down to checking tracking and making sure everything arrived safely 🥹
Also the price was so much more reasonable than anything I was quoted in the UK, (£100’s less) especially considering everything that was included. (She is also translating our wedding certificates for after the wedding too)
Genuinely could not recommend her enough. ❤️
