Interweave Solutions is an International NGO operating in South America, Europe, North America and the Caribbean. We have carried out training Guyana in areas such as Georgetown, Berbice, East & West Coast Demerara and Linden. The major remote towns are being covered during 2016....areas such as Mabaruma and Lethem. Interweave's training is based on the revolutionary teaching method called FAMA (F

acts, Association, Meaning and Action). FAMA is a hands-on teaching method that generates learning, group participation and action. series includes an Education, ABCs of Business Literacy, Business, and Home and Community curriculum– the curriculum includes: facilitator and participant manuals, flipcharts, and PowerPoints that enable participants to master and apply the concepts that will elevate their lives. The Interweave model builds on the interrelationship of three key life areas - Business, Home and Community. When the strengths of these three spheres come together, every circle is made stronger through Education, and people achieve the social and economic self-reliance essential to growth. Interweave’s staff selects and trains local, in-country coaches in areas of extreme poverty. These coaches work through existing local networks – churches, schools, micro-finance institutions and non-governmental organizations - to organize, facilitate, educate and nurture independent neighborhood self-reliance groups. Using Interweave training and materials, these mutual-support groups become a powerful vehicle for participatory learning and action. Participants learn and work together to plan and implement efforts to improve education, business, home and community.
