Our Consular tip for today is to ensure that your contact details are accurate when completing your visa application forms (DS-160 & DS-260) and when registering your appointment online. Using your own email address and telephone number is strongly recommended.

We use the contact information you provide to notify you:

🔸 If there is a change in your appointment date/time
🔸 When your visa is ready for pick-up
🔸 If we need any additional information/documents to process your application

Don’t let something as simple as your contact information delay your visa processing!

We know you’re excited about your prospective travels to the U.S., and we know it may be more cost-effective to buy an airline ticket early; however, if you do not already have a visa, buying your ticket first may cost you more in the long run.

Our Tip: Save yourself from additional expenses from changing a flight! Wait until you have your passport and visa in hand before making flight arrangements.
