Life moves on day by day with issues, needs, and challenges. We have much to gripe over - bills, blackouts, and billboards. To all our AWE friends, here's a thought: *BE GRATEFUL*. As you deal with the numberless challenges, reflect on a few things you are grateful for today!

- someone in your life who is sacrificially helping in some way

***TUESDAY THINK-TANK ***
THINK about THESE THINGS!!!
Over the last few days, I listened to 4TedX talks. Movers and shakers around the globe, like Zuckerberg's wife Priscilla Chan with her CZ Initiative, really touched/ warmed my heart. Google her! As a couple, they are giving 99% of their income to use technology and community-driven solutions to make our world a better place.***
Then there is the ultra-famous entrepreneur whose vision statement includes, apart from sustainable energy, this part, "humans will become an interplanetary species." Hmm... We might be having a cocktail on Neptune sometime soon, thanks to Elon.***
(BTW, I did not know that we had electrical cars here in GY for sale. Ahh!)
The crown prince of Saudi Arabia has developed a 2030 agenda to modernize his country. He's certainly up against traditional values and norms.***
It amazes me to see how major actors plan far beyond the human imagination, and how they are dealing with the pushback as they continue to speed on with their vision.
It is so easy to be trapped in our thinking, muzzled by the environment we live in.
Take some time, this Tuesday to think about these things. What is your vision? Where are you going? What is your contribution to the world? I do not want to just survive; I want to thrive! Do you? Time for TLC - Transformational Leadership Conversation June 30 at 7 pm
In our strong "top-down "boss-man" culture, it is very challenging to imagine that those who serve are leaders. Can you lead while serving, and serve while leading? Hmm... We expect councilors to serve us well and rightly so! Let us talk together about SERVICE - our expectations, concerns, issues - citizens and councilors - in one room! We can do more than blaming, shaming, and gossiping! We can find solutions!

If we live in a context where mediocrity is accepted, we are not eager to learn or become empowered. After all, who cares?
In one HR class l attended, someone said, "l had to hide to come to dis class; my boss wud get upset if he know l coming."
I remember thinking about his situation with deep sadness. While in our various ministries and organizations, there is obviously the need to learn and lead better, there is also that tension between remaining a part of the woodwork and the fear of being replaced. Where are you on this continuum?🙄 Hmm...??? Here is a challenge to do some introspection. Give us a call! I dare you!👍😊🌈
