Guyana Diaspora Forum Series Launches in Washington, D.C. 🇬🇾🌍
On July 21, the inaugural 'Guyana Diaspora Forum: Building Towards 2050' was hosted at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., bringing together members of the Guyanese diaspora, U.S. and Guyanese officials, development partners, and private sector leaders.
Organized by ACE Consulting Group in collaboration with ExxonMobil Guyana, the event highlighted the importance of diaspora engagement, workforce development, and youth empowerment in advancing Guyana’s long-term development agenda.
Featured speakers included:
- H.E. Samuel Hinds, Guyana’s Ambassador to the U.S.
- H.E. Nicole D. Theriot, U.S. Ambassador to Guyana
- Dr. Rosh Khan, President of ACE Consulting Group
- Mr. Wazim Mowla, Senior Fellow and Lead of the Caribbean Initiative at the Atlantic Council
- Ambassador Sarah-Ann Lynch, Former U.S. Ambassador to Guyana
- Ms. Rosalinda Rasul, Head of the Diaspora Unit, Ministry of Foreign Affairs
- Mrs. Diletta Doretti, Country Representative, World Bank Group
- Mrs. Rebecca Cvikota, In-Country Project Manager, ExxonMobil Guyana.

Our diaspora holds the insight and experience to help shape a Guyana where opportunity reaches every region. This forum was a call to action and we were very pleased by the level of participation and engagement at this event.
The Forum Series will continue in other cities globally, mobilizing a network of engaged Guyanese professionals, investors, and changemakers committed to Guyana’s future.
