Effective 1 October 2026, passport applications will be conducted strictly online at all Government of Guyana Service Centres and the Central Immigration & Passport Office in Georgetown.

This transition represents another important step towards the digitalisation and modernisation of public services in Guyana.

I recently came across a thoughtful reflection by Lisa Hanna on “beauty ageing intelligently.” Her message challenged the idea that ageing is something to resist. Instead, she suggested that true beauty comes from embracing growth, gaining wisdom, adapting to change, and becoming more purposeful with each passing year.
