Congrats to MODEC on the arrival of their first FPSO to Guyana’s waters!
This is Guyana’s fifth FPSO and represents another significant leap in the continued growth and development of our country’s oil and gas sector.
The 𝗘𝗥𝗥𝗘𝗔 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗧𝗨 is the largest oil production vessel to be deployed in Guyana to date and will operate at the Uaru field in the Stabroek Block.
The vessel’s name, which means “abundance” in the native language of Guyana’s Warrau people, reflects the growing confidence in Guyana, its string international partnerships, and its people to supporting the responsible development of its resources.
A warm welcome to Errea Wittu!
Our fifth FPSO has arrived in Guyana, marking an important milestone for continued development of our offshore operations.
Named Errea Wittu, meaning “Abundance” in the Warrau language, the vessel celebrates Guyana's rich Indigenous heritage and the promise of opportunity and growth.
We are proud to see Guyanese companies and professionals contributing to milestones like this as the industry continues to grow.
As we celebrate the vessel's safe arrival, our teams are now focused on the next phase of work to prepare the Errea Wittu for start-up.
Join us in welcoming Errea Wittu to Guyana.
