2024 in FOCUS, with 2023 in the rear view.

This past year has taught me several things, but also reminded me of a few that were forgotten:

I'm Resilient.
I'm loved more than I know.
Humans are flawed creatures, it is Yahweh who perfects us.
People will forget all the good you did; the minute you stop serving them.
Worrying adds nothing; rather takes away from productivity.
People will wish you the best, but not necessarily to do better than them.
Go where you are celebrated, not tolerated.
Peace comes from within.
A person can add to your happiness, but ultimately your happiness is your responsibility.
TRUTH needs no defence.
Leadership does not require a formal title, anyone can lead from anywhere.
Guard yourself against those mental and emotional bandits.
New environment can challenge your boundaries so stay focus.
It is way more rewarding to give/ serve than to receive/ be served.
Do what your conscience tells you to be right, even if everyone else is doing something else.
To whom much is given, much is required.

Life is indeed a journey.

Girls, Assemble! Parliamentarian, Sancha Halley, who is also the Honourable Minister of Human Services and Social Security stands before the National Assembly building of Suriname.

The Honourable Minister is currently on business in Paramaribo, the Surinamese Capital.

The National Assembly of Girls resumes after their holiday break on January 14th, 2023. The Government, led by the Honourable Prime Minister Jayda Overton, GAP, will present their bills to a house committee for the consideration of the parliamentary debate on March 11 and 12th, 2023.
