第五屆光明區創新創業大賽香港站初賽場圓滿結束，當中嶺南大學的學生在比賽中表現相當亮眼，陳港文同學Eddie所帶領的項目「職騰APP」於比賽獲得第三名，另外符詠林同學Wendi所帶領的項目「士多車（可持續農業）」於比賽獲得第六名。除此之外，徐光達同學所帶領的項目「iCurious」入圍十五強。主評委鄭海名先生讚賞學生：「有些學生推出了新型的商業模式，同時學生非常有社會責任，致力於改變現狀，為社會做出正面貢獻。」
The Shenzhen Guangming District Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition – Hong Kong Area was successfully held. EasyJobs, led by Lingnanian group member CHAN Kong Man Eddie, won the third place in the competition whereas Storetruck, which was led by another group of Lingnanian FU Wing Lam Wendi, reached the sixth place in the competition. iCurious was another young group of Lingnanians led by XU Guangda, and it was shortlisted as one of the 15 teams in the final round. The main judge of the competition, Dr. Yesir Cheng, the Director at Yes Solution, lauded the groups, “Some have come up with a new form of business model…Additionally, the students hold great social responsibility to improve the real-life situation and uphold the kind-hearted vision to bring good to the society.”
