Out Now: The Definitive Business Guide to the Greater Bay Area (GBA)

With a population of 86 million and a GDP crossing $2 Trillion USD, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) is no longer just a regional growth initiative—it is one of the most powerful economic and innovation corridors in Asia, rivaling the world's largest bay economies.

But for multinational corporations, entering or expanding within this powerhouse requires navigating a unique challenge: the coexistence of three distinct legal and tax systems.

At Fidinam, we view this regulatory landscape not as a deterrent, but as a massive strategic opportunity.

Today, we are proud to launch our comprehensive, business-focused report: White Paper on the Greater Bay Area: Overview, Developments and Policies of the Pearl River Delta.

Whether you are looking to set up a regional headquarters, optimize supply chains, or scale an innovative startup, this paper provides the concrete data and legal framework you need to succeed.

What you will discover inside:
💡 The 15% Tax Advantage: How qualified corporations and international talents can leverage targeted fiscal subsidies to lower corporate and individual tax burdens to 15% in designated zones.

🏢 The Hong Kong Gateway: Why Hong Kong remains the ultimate, tax-efficient platform for financing, holding, and regional management functions.

🤖 Guangdong's Industry 4.0 Engine: Deep-dives into the region's massive industrial clusters dominating AI, advanced robotics, biomedicine, and the low-altitude economy.

📍 The 4 Key Cooperation Zones: Navigating operational entry points through Qianhai, Nansha, Hengqin, and Hetao.

🇪🇺 Case Studies: Practical expansion scenarios of European scale-ups realizing measurable cost-savings and market access.

Don't treat the GBA as a fragmented market. Learn how to leverage it as an interconnected, high-performing strategic ecosystem.

We are pleased to announce that Fidinam Vietnam has entered into a Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Asia Legal, a Hanoi-based law firm specialised in business and investment law.

As Vietnam continues to attract growing interest from international investors and businesses, the need for coordinated legal, tax, accounting and advisory support is becoming increasingly important.

Through this cooperation, Fidinam Vietnam and Asia Legal aim to provide clients with a more integrated advisory journey — supporting them not only with individual matters as they arise, but with a broader view of their business, investment and long-term planning needs.

Together, Fidinam Vietnam and Asia Legal bring clients complementary expertise across:

• Market entry and company formation
• Accounting, tax and HR advisory
• Wealth planning and long-term structuring
• Corporate law, M&A and investment

We look forward to working closely with the Asia Legal team and continuing to support businesses, investors and individuals navigating opportunities in Vietnam and beyond.

Every business banking application starts with the same question:

How will a bank view your company?

The Fidesion Banking Success Assessment helps businesses answer that question with more clarity - at no cost.

Based on our experience and common onboarding criteria, it reviews your company profile and provides an initial view of your banking approval potential with traditional and digital banks.

From there, Fidesion can support you with the next steps 💡 from business bank account opening to cards, treasury, user management, and other banking-related needs.

A great morning around a topic many businesses are actively navigating.

Guido Abbati (Desk Manager at Fidinam Hong Kong) presented the practical realities of corporate banking in Hong Kong and beyond — from account opening challenges to evolving compliance expectations.

A highlight was the introduction of Fidesion.com, including a live demonstration of the Banking Success Assessment, offering a clearer, more structured way for companies to understand their banking readiness before approaching financial institutions.

Thank you to everyone who joined our breakfast session “Bridging Growth: Hong Kong–Vietnam Business Outlook”, together with the Swiss Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong

The session brought together practical insights on how Hong Kong companies can approach Vietnam—not just as a trend, but as a structured growth opportunity.

▪️ Sara Silenzi (Managing Partner Fidinam Hong Kong) shared a clear overview of Vietnam’s strategic positioning, along with key considerations around tax and holding structures when investing in Vietnam from Hong Kong.

▪️ Phuong Thao Bui (Managing Partner Fidinam Vietnam) then took a deeper dive into the sectors offering the most potential, and what market entry looks like in practice - from setup to ex*****on.

One key takeaway stood out:
Vietnam is not just a growth story. It’s a multi-sector opportunity market.
From manufacturing and supply chains to consumer expansion and digital transformation, Vietnam offers diverse entry points for Hong Kong companies to scale and capture long-term growth.

Appreciate the engaging discussions and questions from the audience - and great to continue the conversations over coffee afterwards!

A great morning in Guangzhou this week, where we co-hosted “Bridging China to ASEAN: Opportunities & Incentives for French Companies in China” together with CCI FRANCE CHINE.

The discussion focused on a key shift we’re seeing among international companies: China is no longer just a standalone market, but increasingly a platform for broader regional expansion.

We explored this through 3 practical perspectives:
▪️ Vietnam as a strategic extension for production diversification - Presented by Phuong Thao Bui, Managing Partner, Fidinam Vietnam
▪️ Singapore as a gateway for regional and global expansion, including banking and financial capabilities - Presented by Desiree M. Tan, Head of Asia Desk, Fidinam Singapore
▪️ China and how local tax incentives continue to support SME growth - Presented by Julie Nadia, Head of Marketing & Portfolio Management, Fidinam Guangzhou

Thank you to our speakers for sharing on-the-ground insights, and to everyone who joined the session and discussions afterwards.

We were also pleased to have the presence of Alessandro Pedrinoni (CEO APAC), Franco Fornari (Managing Partner Fidinam Guangzhou), and Emanuel Abram (Group CFO) - a strong reflection of Fidinam’s continued focus on supporting clients across Asia.

Beijing, officially on the Fidinam map!

We’ve recently opened our new branch office in Beijing, marking another step in strengthening our presence across key business hubs in China.

This photo captures a moment behind that step — bringing together Alessandro Pedrinoni (CEO Asia Pacific), Tommaso Colli (Managing Director of Fidinam Shanghai) and April L. (Account Manager) who will be servicing the Beijing office.

The new branch allows us to be closer to clients in northern China, supporting them with their day-to-day accounting, tax and compliance needs, while staying closely connected to our wider team across the region.

A small team for now, but an important step in building out our Greater China platform.
