🩺 It is low impact and will preserver your knees
👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 it can be done as a family or easily be combined with your day to day activities

While running is still the best calorie-burner, burning more than 500 calories an hour, if you’re jogging slowly you’ll burn almost as many calories taking a brisk walk. If you’re concerned about high impact exercises and joint health, increasing the incline for your walk is a better choice than picking up the pace.

Why a deficit of 500 cal/day?
↘️ Lead to 1 pound of fat loss a week
🙆‍♂️ Sustainable pace on the long run
🥳 Limits cravings

The hard part about dieting is sticking to it. Potentially you could opt for a bigger calorie deficit which could lead you to achieve your goal faster.

But if the deficit is too big, it leads to cravings and feeling hungry and eventually you might not be able to keep up and derail your efforts.

We believe that a more measured and patient approach is more sustainable and will take you there in a more healthy way. It is also more likely to succeed.

It means the more muscle you have, the more calories you burn. even while doing nothing!

So building muscle can help you lose fat easier, or allow to consume more calories daily. So even if it may seem counter intuitive, when trying to lose fat, building muscle first may be a good idea!

What Are the best Protein sources?

🐔Chicken - 27g per 100g serving
🐟Salmon - 20g per 100g serving
🥚Eggs - 6g per large egg

Turns out eggs are not necessarily the best option! Especially as this does not show the amount of calorie associated.

Ideally, you want a high protein ratio for as little calorie as possible!
