It is the first ever online teambuilding for this group of entrepreneurs. We did an in-person one last December.

Online Teambuilding can be fun, interactive and inspiring. It can be done without having any powerpoint slides shown. It can be done with people openness to share their thoughts and emotions. It can be done with observation and appreciation.

經驗學習共融

我喜歡學習。
我跟一班馬來西亞人一起學習。更準確地說，我是班上唯一的外國人。除了得到很多帶領網上培訓的技巧和靈感外，我經驗了文化共融。無論是教學還是小組討論都是以英語進行，直至有人越說越興奮，越來越投入，然後開始說起馬拉話。我迷失了，也不知在什麼時候，我開始懷疑他們是在說英文麼。突然間，有人在聊天室解釋某些詞語，有人叫停馬拉對話，重啟英語對談。

這是何等美好的圖畫。文化共融可以是一件美麗的事。我也學了一點點馬拉話：Bantai是估估下；Pandai是聰明。我喜歡在不同文化氛圍中學習。文化共融可以發生有賴大家察覺有一個《外國人》存在，而這《外國人》也主動發問和求助。

這都不在課程之中。這是我的額外得著。

Experiential Learning on diversity and inclusion

I love learning. I participated at a workshop with a group of Malaysians. To be more precise, I was the only foreigner. Besides enjoying the training and getting insights on virtual learning facilitation, I experienced diversity and inclusivity. Everything was in English except when people were too excited and started laughing and talking in Malay. I was literally lost. I did not even know when I started getting lost and asking myself if they were talking in English. And all of a sudden, someone dropped a note in the chatroom to explain certain words. Someone called for a stop on Malay and a start on English.

It was beautiful. Diversity was nice with inclusion. I have learnt some Malay expression: bantai is a slang meaning "giving it a good guess" while pandai means clever. I love the fact that we have different cultures. Inclusion is in the room when people are aware of the presence of someone difference and offering translation. Inclusion happens when the someone-who-is-different gives feedback by simply frowning or asking for translation.

It is obviously not planned in the workshop. It is a bonus for me.

《有效回饋技巧工作坊》不單適合人力資源部同事參加，亦有助不同工作性質的人面對日常溝通。我們談到為什麼回饋那麼重要，人們在給予什麼樣的回饋，最後才談及如何給予有效回饋。當然，我們也要學會如何聆聽和接收回饋，畢竟有些回饋是帶有攻擊性和破壞力的。

雖然全程沒有看見任何一個參加者面孔，但是我們不斷使用Chatbox和Emoji交流。這也是一個回饋的有效方式啊！

Effective feedback workshop is not only for HR, but also for anyone in various job functions. We talked about why feedback was so important, what types of feedback people were giving and how to give an effective feedback. We also need to know how to receive feedback - do not take all unconditionally because some feedback can be destructive.

It was an enjoyable session with over 100 IT people. Even though I didn't see their faces, I love our interaction in the chatbox and the flow of emojis. It is also a way of instant feedback.

We had a great morning with BNI Elite chapter. We walked through the process of building a power team, which alike marriage, networking/first met, business visit/dating, collaboration in small projects/going through different circumstances, marriage/power team. We love to see the smiles and connection.
