Baidu selling a big chunk of its stake in Ctrip to fund its growing cash flow needs as its search and related advertising business becomes ever more challenged. Not a good sign for Ctrip as presumably the sale now means that Baidu believes the price of the shares is going to fall. At a minimum putting this amount of shares into the open market is going to put downward pressure on Ctrip share price.
