"Host team AI sharing sessions, reward those who use it, test the water, swim, and be careful."
This expert advice shared by our speakers and panelists highlights what we all can do, and introduce to our teams to make AI a daily reality at work. Last Wednesday, we hosted our Randstad breakfast event in Hong Kong around building a Human-AI centric workforce. It wasn't just another generic AI talk. We invited industry experts, Michael Yung, Strategic Advisor from Google Cloud, Mindy Yeh, Senior VP from DDI Asia, Tony Cheng, Managing Director & GM from Merck Hong Kong and Macau, and Arghya Sen, Head of People, Operations and Global Capability Centers from HSBC joined us to share practical tips and use cases on how to build an adaptive, AI-ready team.
Our Managing Director Natellie Sun also shared the latest workforce sentiments from our Randstad workmonitor and Employer Brand Research. She highlighted how Hongkongers are feeling in this era of Agentic AI, and emphasised that the combination of AI fluency and human soft skills are now the powerful accelerators for career growth.
At the event, we explored how to overcome cultural friction, adapt leadership styles, and evolve hiring strategies. We also tackled a critical question that many are asking: how do we meaningfully measure AI at work nowadays?
A huge thank you to all speakers and everyone who attended our event. Want to build a future-ready workforce? Request to be one of the first to receive the Randstad Hong Kong 2026 Employer Brand Research Report tomorrow! https://bit.ly/3QoKtx0
