We organized a meaningful volunteer-led drive on 3 August in the To Kwa Wan district. Our YEC leaders, including Chairman Victor Lam, and members came together to bring cheer and distribute food bags to the underprivileged. Huge thanks to the To Kwa Wan Resident Service Organization and the Kowloon City District Women's Association for collaborating with us. Giving back to the community is so important, and we look forward to more initiatives like this in the future! 🤝 🌍

YEC bowling party was a hit! Jointly organized with the Hong Kong Federation of Overseas Chinese Associations, the event at the Pacific Club gave participants the opportunity to show off their bowling skills in a friendly contest. Six teams of four members each competed passionately, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the games, free-flowing drinks and food!

Great thanks to Heidi Lee 李易璇, Executive Director, HK Ballet, sharing the youth development and entreprenuership of the dance company in HK & GBA. We wish we had more time!

HKGCC General Committee member Edmond Yue and IETD Director Nguyen Thi Hang signed the MoU at the Vietnam-Hong Kong Business & Investment Matching session in Ho Chi Minh City.

YEC's business mission to Vietnam (20-22Nov2023) also visited Trade Development Council HCMC office, Vin Property Group, Dragon Fruit Farm and Factory; of course savoured their local delicacies egg coffee.

YEC Chairman Oliva Kung and the club’s four Vice Chairmen -- Jacky Cheung, Kingsley Fong, Manfred Lau and Victor Lam – got together with six winners from the Pitch Perfect Programme at the Chamber Theatre last week. Together, they brainstormed ideas for the second edition of the student competition, which will launch next year. The students also shared some innovative ideas on how the programme can engage with universities in Hong Kong, as well as more general ideas on promoting the Chamber to the public.

During the meeting, the Secretariat also sought support from students in promoting the Chamber’s Student Associate Membership on campus.

A group of members and their children enjoyed learning some basic first aid techniques at a workshop held at the Chamber Theatre last week. Using a series of games and explanations, trainers from the Hong Kong Red Cross demonstrated some treatment for minor injuries, and also shared how to prevent common accidents at home.

The last YEC ExCo meeting was held on 6 July where Olivia Kung was elected Chairman, Kingsley Fong and Manfred Lau were elected Vice Chairmen, and Jacky Cheung and Victor Lam were re-elected Vice Chairmen. Congratulations to them all!

Meanwhile, Eric Fok, Elsa Wong and Samuel Tsang have stepped down from the role of Co-Chairmen and Vice Chairman respectively. We would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their hard work and contribution in the past few years in making the Club bigger and stronger.
