We tried to finish an aerial recording under the auspices of 17 satellites for the professional service of existing property photogrammetry, VR, & 3D model on 9 Sep 2017. But the sudden thunderstorm forced us to pause further cruising.
NOTAM & SPECI didn't indicate the unclement weather due to the unascertainable weather forecasting. Flight planning was not enabled to be accurate. Facing with immediate changing localised meteorology, ad hoc decision-making for such situational awareness determines the safety of our navigation. Our flying team is experienced in such unforecasted nature & emergency under our regular civil aviation & low-altitude flying training classes.
