Our colleague LAM wins HKIA Young Architect Award 2022, becoming the office's second YAA after Billy Tam. Congratulations! LAM's wining submission showcasing his passion in design and social participation. The jury recognizes his sensitivity to the sociocultural context of the site and his clear mission to contribute to society as an architect.

Winner: Mr. LAM Lai Shun

Congratulations to Mr. LAM Lai Shun. The Young Architect Award is co-organised by the HKIA and Asian Cultural Council Hong Kong annually to honour and acknowledge the talents and contribution of young architects. The winner would be granted a subsidy for a 3-week architectural study trip, sponsored by the Hsin Chong - K. N. Godfrey Yeh Education Fund, and the honour of Young Architect Award.

The theme of HKIA Young Architect Award 2022 is "Countryside Renaissance". Participants are invited to envision intervention with appropriate program in the countryside that respects the rich rural context, embraces nature and rethinks about the meaning of countryside conservation.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to all the participants and the Jury Panel for their great support. Congratulations to Tsoi Wing Sing Primary School on the grand opening of their campus! As the designer of this school for tomorrow's leaders, TCA is proud to have played a role in creating this education hub.

Over the past five years, our team has worked tirelessly with the teaching staff and construction team to bring this building to life. Today, we are thrilled to see it become a reality and provide students with access to the latest facilities, including a library, STEM rooms, a spacious assembly hall, and the latest interactive equipment in all 30 classrooms. With generous daylight penetrating through all learning space, we hope this campus will inspire the next generation of outstanding leaders.

Situated in the heart of nature, Tsoi Wing Sing Primary School is the perfect place for students to learn and grow. The Design !n Action programme, part of the BODW CityProg 設計營商周城區活動 BODW CityProg School Programme, has provided TCA with the distinct privilege of participating in an event on March 23, 2023. We are delighted to introduce Island School's recently opened campus to a dynamic group of enthusiastic students. Witnessing how our designed learning space can be utilized by the upcoming generation is truly gratifying. We aspire that our presentation will motivate and encourage these children to become leading designers of the future.

Congratulations to TWGHs Tseng Hin Pei Primary School for the new campus in Queen’s Hill. TCA, led by our director Billy Tam, is so privileged to be the lead consultant to design the joyful and energetic campus with SMILE as the curriculum development lever of TWGHs’ education ideology.

The new school provides with education and development facilities including an Assembly hall, Student Activities Centre, Auditorium, Campus TV and Multimedia Education Centre, Technology Exploration Centre, Library and Learning Resources Centre, Outdoor Learning Funland, Global Exploration Centre, Outdoor Learning Funland, Music Room, Art Development Space and Exhibition and Conference Centre.

Congratulations to Island School for the return to new campus in Borrett Road. TCA, led by our director Billy Tam, is so privileged to be the lead consultant to design the campus from scratch to a 8 storeys high contemporary learning hub.

The brand new campus provides amazing facilities including a indoor swimming pool, two full-sized court indoor sports hall, black box theatre, innovative STEM lab, professional-spec gym and climbing wall, roof playgrounds, and of course, much more flexible and large learning space to enhancing students’ experiences.
