Had a wonderful 2-hour session leading a “Lead with Presence, Power, and Calm” workshop today. I shared practices on how we can access different states of being to better support our work as leaders—especially through powerful breathing techniques that activate our vagus nerves and deepen our mind–body connection.

What stood out to me is how exploring these connections doesn’t have to be about traditional meditation or stillness alone. Instead, it can be an active, dynamic way to bring calm and grounded power into whatever leadership challenges or moments we face.

Feeling grateful to witness how these simple yet profound practices help people show up more fully and confidently in their leadership journey.

So I poured some coffee, fired up Gemini AI, and together we spun a short, playful story inspired by the DISC personality styles — but set in a completely unexpected world.

為人父母固然是件樂事，但亦是一件艱巨的工程，24/7都要面對種種挑戰，每時每刻都像是在實境的電玩任務中。孩子的身心健康、智力發展、性格培養，都需要用上無盡的心力。這個過程更涉及家庭、學校、社區等多方面的互動影響。

小朋友都是「學習機器」，天生充滿好奇心和求知慾。但他們並不一定按你所想來學習，旁人一句話、YT的一段短片，或是朋友間的互動，都可能比在學校設定了目標性學習來得深刻及影響深遠。

不少家長都重視親子活動，希望與子女共度歡樂時光的同時，藉此培養他們的品德和才能。教養孩子是一項長期而艱巨的任務，需要持續投入時間及心力。如果家長能與子女建立長期的共同體驗，必定事半功倍。外間籌辦的親子活動，固然可以令自己無須費力策劃，只要時間許可便成；不過郤未必能符合你所希望的長期發展方向或需要。
