CLA Global Conference 2026

The management team of CLA Prism Hong Kong Limited, led by Managing Partner Allen Lee, were honoured to join the CLA Global Conference 2026 at Grand Hyatt Singapore. The conference started with a wonderful lion dance prepared by the host country, CLA Southeast Asia.

As a special highlight of the event, Allen shared the journey of the firm, how it began, the persistence behind every step, and how much it means to the firm by joining CLA to become an international firm.

The panel discussions, dialogue and showcases brought member firms together to exchange ideas on emerging technologies, real-world business challenges and new ways to serve clients. The conference also set out an exciting vision for CLA Global's next chapter, from AI learning initiatives to bringing young leaders to shape the future with CLA shared values and core culture.

CLA Prism Hong Kong was honoured to be Gold Sponsor of the 77th National Day Celebration Dinner of the Accounting Profession.

On 21 September 2026, our partners joined the dinner at JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong, with more than 600 guests and close to 50 tables. The evening was co-organised by the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA), the Association of Hong Kong Accounting Advisors (AHKAA), the Hong Kong Association of Registered Public Interest Entity Auditors Limited (PIEAA), the Hong Kong Business Accountants Association (HKBAA) and The Society of Chinese Accountants and Auditors (SCAA).

The gathering marked the 77th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. As 2026 opens the National 15th Five-Year Plan, it was also a meeting point for political, business and accounting leaders.

Heading Towards APEC: Hong Kong’s Economy, Finance and Professional Services Forward-Looking Forum

International Growth Leader (IGL) Face to Face Meeting 2026 and the Global Technology and Innovation Event 2026

In May, our firm's leader, Allen Lee, took part in the International Growth Leader (IGL) Face to Face Meeting 2026 in Bonn, Germany, hosted by CLA Global member firm, DHPG, at their Bonn office.

Allen, joining fellow network leaders from around the world to shape the future direction of CLA Global and network members opportunities. Discussions focused on the network's vision, mission, and business strategy, fostering collaboration and a shared commitment to growth, innovation, and excellence.

The IGL meeting was followed by the Global Technology and Innovation Event 2026, where participants explored cutting-edge technologies, breakthrough ideas, and the latest industry developments. The event demonstrated how emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence and digital solutions, are transforming the professional services landscape and creating new opportunities to deliver greater value to clients.

Prism Academy 小學堂 ： [氣候變化對咖啡的影響 (下)]

上一堂同大家分享了氣候持續變化下，如何影響咖啡豆的種植，今堂與大家分享不同咖啡豆產地在未來數十年的產量如何受氣候變化影響。

咖啡豆的種類可以簡單分為阿拉比卡咖啡豆、羅布斯塔咖啡豆及賴比瑞亞咖啡豆三大類。阿拉比卡咖啡豆可以說是港人最常喝的咖啡豆種類，其產地包括巴西 (Brazil)、哥倫比亞 (Columbia)、肯亞 (Kenya)、埃塞俄比亞 (Ethiopia)、哥斯達黎加 (Costa Rica)、尼加拉瓜 (Nicaragua)等。

根據網上的研究數據顯示，氣溫持續上升、濕度變化及異常降雨模式令咖啡樹的生長環境惡化，產量下降，阿拉比卡咖啡豆適合種植的區域料到2050年時，或將縮減至現有的一半。而氣候變遷也令生產條件不穩定，當地農民面對更嚴峻的生產挑戰，或甚被迫放棄咖啡種植。

今堂同大家看其中四大咖啡豆產區，巴西 (Brazil)、哥倫比亞 (Columbia)、肯亞 (Kenya)及埃塞俄比亞 (Ethiopia)預計到2050年氣候變遷下的產量變化。

巴西是全球最大的咖啡豆生產國，約佔全球產量的一半，預計到2050年時，氣候變化或會令巴西適合種植咖啡的面積減少兩成半。哥倫比亞低海拔區域的咖啡豆產量在2041至2060年或會比現在減少 8.16%。埃塞俄比亞預計到2050年，將有39至59%現正在種植咖啡的土地受到氣候變化的影響。

另外，咖啡的杯測分數或評級較高的精品咖啡通常生產於1500至2200米的環境，肯亞的精品咖啡種植海拔約在1600至2100米，而預料到2050年時，當地適合種植咖啡豆的海拔將由現在的 400至2000米提升到800至2500米，故對當地精品咖啡的產量及質量都帶來直接影響。

如果大家不想將來「嘆不到」一杯靚咖啡，氣候變化的問題，你不能再置身事外了。
