葡萄酒酒標，如何變成一件藝術品?

近日SCMP寫了一篇專題，名為"How the wine label became an art form?" 去解構酒標籤背後的設計及用意。

究竟如何才是一個成功的酒標呢?

當中訪問了擁有暢銷全球的Yellow Tail 酒庄負責人John Casella，他認為係芸芸眾多的紅白酒當中，要讓Yellow tail脫穎而出，其中一樣就是把酒標設計成一個色彩繽紛，圖案吸引，而且顯眼的小袋鼠。

主力設計酒標的Jeffrey Caldeway, 認為 某程上，一般顧客都受酒標設計左右了購買傾向，影響了飲酒時的感受，以及各種對該品牌的聯想。他更認為 "一個好的外表設計更提升了酒的味道。"

葡萄酒界的恐怖份子

Comité Régional d'Action Viticole 葡萄文化地區行動委員會，簡稱CRAV, 是由法國南部一班本地葡萄酒農成立的激進組織。
他們多次用示威及破壞建築物等形式，去抗議和攻擊其他大型的葡萄酒進口商，目的是反對進口商把西班牙等地的廉價葡萄酒，大量輸入法國本土市場，令他們利益受損。

隨近年的環球經濟轉差，在全球化一體化底下，相信會有更多經濟保守主義，地方主義以激烈的形式出現。 法國等先進國家如是，葡萄酒行業亦如是。

平日受惠於平價葡萄酒的酒友，不妨亦了解一下。

最近Decanter 雜誌專欄作家Andrew Jefford 寫了一篇題為 " Why I’m not a wine-grower" 的文章，訪問了幾位庄主，帶出了當葡萄園經營者的辛酸，而且並不是外界想像中那麼美好。

由選址買地，到入紙審查，再到種植時面對突如其來的天氣變化，以及種種市場激烈競爭，都令人疲於奔命。

難怪其中一位受訪主人表示，經營葡萄園是一個人做四個工作:
“the pressure of having to do four jobs simultaneously – farming the vines, making and looking after the wine, marketing and sales, and managing the business."

紅酒入門小知識(一)

品紅酒先記住三個步驟，「看」、「聞」、「嚐」。
首先看看酒的顏色，是深紫色、還是石榴色？酒色是偏透明的、還是深沉的？
接下來將杯子輕輕搖晃後，鼻子靠近酒杯聞聞看，用心感受一下聞到了什麼味道。花香、果香、蜜香？還是聞出了皮革或燻肉的味道？
再來就是品嚐了，入口後，先別急著吞下肚，讓酒液在舌頭上停留幾秒，或者小漱口的模式讓酒佈滿全口，體驗一下味道包覆住嘴巴、隨後慢慢散開來的層次變化，最後再感受一下尾韻的調性。

亦可嘗試在以下5個方向聯想一下:
酒體, 甜度, 酸度, 單寧, 香氣
