Esri China (Hong Kong) has expressed our support for the standardization and interoperability of the low-altitude economy (LAE).
On September 10, 2026, the Future of Low Altitude Economy: Commercialization & Standardization forum at HKUST brought together government, industry, and academia.
Sr Prof Paul Tsui, CEO of Esri China (Hong Kong), represented the company in supporting the Joint Statement of Intent on Low-Altitude Aviation Standards and Interoperability, alongside more than 50 organizations from Hong Kong, Mainland China, and overseas. Dr. Winnie Tang, MH, JP, Founding Vice President of the Greater Bay Area Low-Altitude Economy Alliance (GBA-LAEA), represented GBA-LAEA as one of the initiating organizations in the signing ceremony. We look forward to advancing a safe, interoperable, and sustainable low-altitude economy in Hong Kong!
