In the Federal Republic of Germany a new Federal President was elected today by the Bundesversammlung. The ancestors after the brutal dictatorship of the National Socialists have adapted themselves to this mode in order never to let disaster Germany break into the world. I know there are still nations that are skeptical about Germany. Especially after reunification; Which were peacefully but accompanied by the extension of territory, aroused certain fears abroad. The German people have welcomed this joyfully, but never particularly valued, for example, as a strengthening of the nation. The Federal Presidents and governments after the Second World War were and always are aware of their special role. Understanding with other nations and careful action. Germany has concluded an understanding and friendship with former opponents. The country is multicultural and benefits from it. In the refugee crisis, Germany has opened the borders to seek asylum and peace. Of course it works with the many who came to us and can not come to the same 100% fold. First of all, the security of the refugees is important. The German people, as well as other European countries and, more recently, the Atlantic, have been dealing with the problems of populists. As an attentive citizen, I can assure you that they are represented here in individual national parliaments but without any influence. They are cut by all represented legal parties and vehemently excluded coalescing.
I have had this impressive speech by the President of the Bundestag translated. It reflects Germany in the 21st century. I would like to show my friends worldwide that this country has understood and the subsequent generations have learned from the past. We are aware of the guilt and keep it alive as a prophylaxis.
