We hope all of you have had a great start to 2026! Are you ready to gallop into the Year of the Horse and welcome Chinese New Year (CNY)?

The Singapore Consulate-General along with our esteemed partners are excited to put together the 2026 Spring Reception for our vibrant Singaporean community in Hong Kong & Macao, joined by our Friends of Singapore!

Come join us to immerse in the festivities with Lion Dance performance, Lo Hei prosperity toss, fun games, cultural performances, while enjoying delectable Singapore delicacies. It will be an occasion to catch up with old friends & make new ones. Our new Consul General Eric Teo & his wife Minjae Kim look forward to say hello to everyone.

The International Chambers of Commerce in Hong Kong extend their deepest condolences to the families and friends affected by the tragic fire in Tai Po. This devastating event has profoundly impacted our community, claiming lives and leaving many others injured and displaced.

As we face this distressing situation, we are reminded of the valor and dedication of our first responders who are working tirelessly to contain the blaze. We commend the firefighters who bravely risk their lives on the front lines, and we mourn the loss of one of their own in this heroic effort.

In the true spirit of Hong Kong, we witness remarkable acts of solidarity. Hotels opening their doors to those displaced, citizens volunteering with supplies, and countless individuals coming together to lend a helping hand highlight our city's resilience and compassion.

During these challenging times, let us unite in our support for one another. We urge everyone to keep the victims, their families, and our emergency services in your thoughts and prayers. Together, we will navigate through this hardship and emerge stronger as a community.

The International Chambers of Commerce are committed to supporting recovery efforts and will continue to monitor the situation closely.
